It doesnt sound cliche at all, if you ask me.
Very refreshing and interesting, to be honest I never played a game where you need to choose a special task.
I could see myself enjoying that game a lot.

And I hope that there will be a lot of progress as I am really curious about the endings

Looks fantastic. I love the idea of completing tasks - sets a good goal in a VN! I can never bring myself to chase a particular character, or a particular goal (I'm often all over the place when it's something "free for all"), so there's some consistency when you're told you can pick one (and that you're rewarded for pursuing all the quests <3 I always love when you can only see the full spectrum of the story when you play all the endings/storylines). Plus, the idea of BxB entices me~ And the art is completely amazing.
