Erm, a friend of mine told me I should try uploading utattemita songs on niconico or youtube and when I tried recording...... I don't think I could throw it on the net at all.
I currently have a headphone+mic, and there is a strange noise background along with it everytime I record.
After researching on a few sites...
I stumbled on this dynamic microphones, desktop microphones and stuff...

So um, to people who knows about this stuff, what would be better? A dynamic mic or desktop? And which reduces noise than the other better? Or it doesn't really matter and I should just get a pop blocker/screen? ---Some also says a usb-type microphone has less noise but just thought nothings bad on asking around...

I'm not really the best on this, but I like to record songs too and have been doing so for a little while.
Some of the people I know from Youtube actually use mikes that are used for video games like Singstar. In the US, that's usually about $10. I personally use a mike for a Wii Karaoke game. Someone who I admire says it's not really the microphone but the mixing that counts. I think these are 'dynamic' mikes but I'm not entirely sure.

But if there's a background noise, maybe you should get a filter. A cheap way people filter their mikes is to get an old sock (or stocking? I'm not sure) and put it over the mike. I have something similar, but it makes my voice sound really soft when I record...>_>;
Desktop mikes would be good so you don't have to hold the mike with your hand all the time like I do.

I guess this topic is just for mikes...? How about mixing?

yeah, I'm thinking about mixers too... a sound mixer(the cheapest) worth 2000+ yen so getting it might not be that difficult....
I did a quick research on the said topic and that lead me to a listmania! in amazon which lists:
-dynamic mic
-mixer
-pop screen
and you're pretty much recording like the niconico utaites... :/

You could just get a cheap mixing program like Audacity...dunno if exists in Japanese but that's what most people use to record in the YT scene. I use Garageband 'cause it came with my Mac |3c

there's been some debate about tuning in tumblr's English YT singer community...I guess you should look into that too. I'm not entirely sure how it works, but it makes you sound more 'professional'. I guess, I'm not sure how it works exactly. Nico singers, and professionals use it too apparently.

As for me, the only 'tuning' I understand is autotuning in Garageband, as shown here in the beginning of this song (please pardon fail Japanese in description) v
