Summary Neme Marinos has spent the last few years inside a mental institute, and has no recollection as to why. The only thing she can remember is her name, and the word "Automaton". Months after she is released, Nema is visited by a young man; one who claims to know about her past. To add to her predicament, it is at this time that the person who had helped her since her release is soon to move, and wants her to come along with him. Will Neme seek out her past, or will she instead try and strive for her future?
Cast Neme Marinos
The main character of our story. She has no recollection of her old self, nor of the time before being institutionalized. She is laconic, yet she tries to get along with people as best as she can. Physically, Neme looks to be around 20 years old.
Raymond Croft
A local writer and the man who aproached Neme. He claims to know about her past, and even offered to help her along the way; but, is it out of the kindness of his heart or is there some ulterior motive? He appears to be around Neme's age.
Webster Wright
A teacher of the town's Junior High School and the person who's helped Neme make a living for herself. He is planning on moving soon, and invites Neme to go with him. Despite his position, he's only a few years older than Neme.

I'm a big fan of automaton - thus why I looked into this thread, but I must say I'm really intrigued by the plot. It sounds quite interesting, and I'm really curious as to what has happened to her or who is she. Looking forward to see the completion
A small, but significant update. Here's a colored lineart version of Neme brought to you by the artist who volunteered to help me with this project.
The title screen is also done

BTW, who's the artist? Neme looks great Though, shouldn't she have wider hips? It's just an anatomical thing, but yeah :/ Totes looking forward to more updates on the game as they come.

Artist's name is Loquatious.
Another update: Webster's sketch, and here's the wordcount thus far:
Statistics:
The game contains 70 screens of dialogue.
These screens contain a total of 1,040 words,
for an average of 12.1 words per screen.
The game contains 1 menus.
Yeah, sorta slow pace ^^;

GxB? Romance? We can get one of the guys then? 8D? I call dibs on Webster.
Yes, it's (partially) romance, and yes you can get one of them. For the other, it more G/B (Girl rejects Boy)
Though, the question remains: which of the two is which? o:

Updated the first post with Neme's sprite. Apparently, some cruel deity above decided to "bless" me with writer's block. Fortunatly, it seems to be alleviated when I write it up in Word, so there's that. The alternate end path has been finished, now to work on the True path...

Oh, you poor fools....
Well, let's see what happens now.
Bad news: The progress I had was deleted by a certain annoying family member, and thus I must restart anew. So I'm going out of my way to say that you should expect a major update to the game sometime after release.
