Not exactly new, but I haven't used my old account in a long time (and don't plan to even if I could remember the password -- consider it retired), so it's pretty much starting over. I have started a VN - the first one I finish, I hope! - and now that the spring semester and exams have wrapped up I hope I can make some major progress.

About myself - not a whole lot to say. I am currently pursuing a degree in English, and waffling whether to minor or major in German as well. (And for native speakers, if my username's declension is wrong, I apologize. "Schnauzer" was taken, and my knowledge of German is still paltry.) I feast on grammar and like talking about language. Take that as an invitation for questions if you like :)

Welcome, friends. I'm Catbread.

I'm taking game design classes in college, but I haven't made anything interesting yet!
So I gave up and set out to figure out how to make games on my own. I started with Ren'py.
I can't program, write music, or create art, and yet I am making a visual novel-ish game.
It's going fairly well, but I'm a bit hung up on the music- I need to figure out what "sequencers" are, and how to find them.
I'm planning on playing some of the games in the directory, to see whether I can learn anything from them.

So! I joined in case I ever need help figuring out what to do. Which is likely to happen. I don't know anything about anything and have made progress mostly through sheer willpower.

Besides all that, I love video games and am playing a lot of Team Fortress while awaiting the release of Diablo 3.
I don't watch much TV now that Season 2's over with.

That about covers all the bases. And mushrooms are all right, I suppose.

Hello everyone, my name is....urh...tk5800thesecond :P

I am currently taking an interactive design course at TAFE, while I was in class in the scripting language module I was reminded of Ren'Py and how I can use it to make my new game.

I'll be posting on here for tips and tricks and to check out other renpy games, if you like you can check out the dev blog for the game I am making now, http://darkworlddev.wordpress.com/

Cant wait to talk to the rest of the users here

Hello, I'm Anthony. I have a studio called Freya's Aett, but it's more a name to use when working on games than a serious studio.

I'm... Well, I used to write professionally for games and now I write professionally about games; I teach games design and narrative where I can, rather than journalism, but I'm not picky. I write fiction in just about any genre (though, taking games into account, I have more published romance than anything else) and have written for a number of media from theatre and books to games and films.

What else... Er... I can't draw at all... [evidence here, if you needed it] I can't dance either, but I was a fight-arranger for a while, so I know how to wiggle a sword.

That should be enough for now; with luck, you'll come to know me better as time goes on...

Hey, I'm... well, you can call me Ame.
I'm a teenage, budding game developer using Ren'Py.
I joined these forums to find an artist, because my art is mediocre at best, and writing is what I do :'D
I also joined to get support on my new projects, and find like-minded people.
:D

I don't take art classes or computer classes, but I do love dating sims, otome games and visual novels, so I know a fair bit about them.
What else to say?
I don't know... have a nice day. ~

Hello, to all of the pokopens here!
I'm here, to give you an announcement that I will take over your planet. If you give me a cookie right now, I'll consider you as my slave. If you give me a frog food, I'll lick you with all of my mucus.

Okay. Kidding...or not?

Well, I think I need to introduce myself here? No, I'm not a two-feet tall frog-like alien. I'm a junior high student (almost senior right now) who doesn't like visual novel. Yeah, I don't like vn. That's why I didn't play a hella lot of vns and I don't want to join in lsf army. Hate me all you want. I don't draw. I don't write. I'm not interested in learning renpy and designing GUI. And right now, I'm not making any vn. Why? Because I'm a pro already. I am the guru of all the VNs in the world. For your personal information, I don't like an anime titled sergeant keroro. Not at all. I hate it with all my might.

Now... as a little meeting present to all of you, I'll give you a cookie as a mercy from me.

Hello! I'm Konstantine! I've been playing ren'py VN recently to relax and thought it might be fun to start making one or two while I'm procrastinating my real life(which sadly has nothing to do with anime/manga/games/writing/art/ect). :) I have no experience/training in game making, but I love to write and always have lots of ideas, so why not put them to use? Please be kind! :D

Dear all,

I'm the representative of Enthrean Guardian. My name is Jasson Prestiliano.

Enthrean Guardian is an indie game developer located in Indonesia. Our staffs are coming from many different cities of Indonesia such as Salatiga, Jakarta, Bandung, Bogor, Yogyakarta, Blitar, Semarang and Balikpapan. We are developing games and applications for several platforms. We also develops some visual and audio works for other studio as collaborator. We are working remotely and separately. One of our visions is to see many people around the world or a certain country such as Japan or USA will cosplay as one of our game characters (especially female characters).

Nice to meet you all,

Thanks...

Hello, I'm new here. *shy*I am a 20 year old female. (lol that sounds weird for some reason...O.o) I won't give my real name...yet...

Hobbies: Singing, listening to music, reading, watching animes and dramas, drawing(beginner), writing (kind of hard since english is not my first language  ) and umm...daydreaming...maybe? ( I have a really crazy imagination :) ).

I'm in love with the games around here and I hope that in the future I will be able to release one of my own.

Hello all. I've been really enjoying the free gxb games I've found and decided that it was about time to try making one of my own. I finished the tutorial at otome games and I'm working at finishing the game the tutorial had me start. Not sure what to do with it once I'm done. I really wish more of the chapters were done because that tutorial was very useful. I haven't been able to find any more tutorials but I think I've got enough of the basics to start.

Hi all! Nice to meet you here.

My username is MizuuHime, but you can call me Mizuu for short. I am enjoying reading and playing VN, and after a while, I decided to join this forum as well, to meet people that like Visual Novels. I am from Indonesia, and I wish, I can make my own Visual Novel too, later on.

Uhm. And I can draw a little (>////<) If you want to take a look at my drawings, you can visit my DA: http://mizuuhime.deviantart.com/

Thanks, and have a nice day for you all!!

Hey everyone.

As you can see, I'm using the name Barnox here.
I've signed up because me and a couple of other people I know have started work on a VN using Ren'Py, and I thought this would be a good place to get assistance if we need it.

I've played a few VNs (A couple by Key and Steins;Gate) and am interested in finding more.
