Forum rules

Ask questions about one topic per thread, and use a descriptive subject. "NotImplemented error in script.rpy" is a good subject, "Tom's problems" is not. Remember to include all of traceback.txt or error.txt when reporting a problem, as well as the relevant lines of script. Use the [code] tag to format scripts.

As the title says, I was working on a game when my computer got a virus and had to be formatted. I've got a copy that I uploaded to the internet, but of course it just has the .rpyc files rather than the .rpy files. Is there a way I can recover my .rpy scripts? I don't care too much about losing the pictures and so on as I can remake them, though if I could get them out too it would be a bonus.

I have the ability to do this if you send me the game.

Unless I'm reading it wrong, that thread says it is perfectly possible to restore a .rpy from a .rpyc; just not publicly available at this time. Could I send my .rpyc file to PyTom or someone to get the .rpy for me?

EDIT: ha, as I was replying. Thanks! I'll send it to you.

It IS publicly available. The image is a zip file, just save it as zip and you can extract the program just fine.
