So there's this Creed project I have to present to my English class on Tuesday. Basically, we have to turn all that we've written about our life (values, beliefs, background, experiences, influences, etc.) over the course of two months, and pretty much compact it into a 3-5 minute presentation. It can take the form of a powerpoint, a collage, a painting, a video, a poem... anything we want.
I want mine to be a super short visual novel (everyone else is mostly doing a powerpoint or essay). Except, I don't know what format I should be going for since it's limited to 3-5 minutes.

Are there any features of Ren'Py I should be taking advantage of for this? Such as auto-playing the text slowly and pausing during the choices...

Have voice-acting. :) Play sound instead of auto-playing text slowly.

Would I have to install the visual novel onto my teacher's computer before presenting in that case?

Not if you work it into Ren'Py. You can build the appropriate distro and unpack it on a flash drive. Runs right from your folder.

Ah okay. So now I only have one thing to worry about... how would I go about presenting this?

Fullscreen, set up auto-forward, and let it run?

Edit: Robert Heinlein doing this in 1950:

I believe in my fellow citizens. Our headlines are splashed with crime. Yet for every criminal, there are ten thousand honest, decent, kindly men. If it were not so, no child would live to grow up. Business could not go on from day to day. Decency is not news. It is buried in the obituaries, but it is a force stronger than crime.

Then talk along with it, unless you voice it.

Perhaps I made this seem more complicated than it should be. Thanks for the help, guys! :D After 2 days, I've completed it.
