I want to make a Visual Novel trailer but dont know how. What do i need to get a trailer to get a trailer similar to these?

To make something similar to the last two you posted you could use a more simple video editing software like Pinnacle Studio or Adobe Premiere Elements, which you can buy for about $60-$100 USD. I use Pinnacle, it's quite nice for effects.

However, to make something more complicated (like the trailers in the first link) you will need a more advanced software like Adobe Premiere or Sony Vegas Pro that can cost up to $1,000 USD. On top of that those software are typically hard to use for beginners so you most likely won't get the effects you desire unless you do a lot of studying and practice using the program (just like art, music or any other creative field).

I'm not looking for something to complicated but nice enough that people woul be intrested in my game.

If you are on windows, you can use Windows Movie Maker.

I found tonnes of tutorials online on how to make a book trailer, which would be similar.

I think probably the best solution would be to get someone else to do it for/with you, especially if this is only a one time thing.
You can get pretty good results with Windows Movie Maker if you know what you're doing, but otherwise it might turn off more people than it would attract.

One program you might want to try is Pencil http://www.pencil-animation.org/.
I haven't used it much myself, but it seems easy enough, plus it's free.

Yeah, but if I remember correctly, it should have tweens and other tools to make a pretty simple trailer. I'll have to look into it to make sure, but I figured it's at least an option.

Edit: Just looked into it, and no, it doesn't have tweens. There are a few other open source options that do, but they don't seem all that easy to learn.

You can try Sony Vegas, although it's pretty expensive.

If we're talking about animation programs with tweening, http://www.synfig.org/ might work. I haven't tried it, but it's free and it lets you bring in bitmap files.

Your best bet would be Vegas Pro. You can ... OH GOD NO (torrent it) from somewhere.

Or you can buy it, but buying something that costs that much for something as little as a VN trailer isn't worth it.

If you have a Mac, Screenflow is also a good candidate.

adobe's new cloud subscription program is $50 a month or $30 a month for students of any level. You get access to all their CS6 software. Premiere, Photoshop, and after effects is all you would need for a trailer and any other 2D related art. Premiere is not very complicated so ... tada.
