Moe Escape [Escape the room, Horror, Cuteness]

#1 Post by LolicOnion »

You wake up from a state of unconsciousness in a nearly pitch black room. You can hear the voice of a young girl asking if you're okay. You soon realize you are chained to a wall and the only way to escape is to give orders to the little girl who is trapped with you.

Use your powers of observation and puzzle solving to escape from the room to safety.

It's been one of 'those' days so I've been looking for an excuse to call it a day :) lol.

Ohhh it's moe cute to death XD
I finished the game, and I loved it. It's not just an art, also the game itself is really well done in total.

For some reason, I can't figure out the password at all...? But this was a really cute game! Clicking and investigating was a lot of fun. *_*

It was pretty darn clever! I don't think I've seen a code puzzle like that one before :)

Awesome game though! You did it really well! :)

Are there more than one ending in this game. It seems there are more but I can't get it.

Loved the way the password worked. <3

Great work, hun. :>
(Only think I'd change is to build in transitions, as it's weird when she "jumps".)

This was fun. =w=

Playing! :) Got stuck at the keypad though because I'm a newb. Don't worry! I totally know what this means! I can do it!

EDIT: I got it! That was pretty darn clever.

EDIT EDIT: ... ): Just got the ending... Is that really the only one?

Just downloaded and played it.
I see why it's tagged horror now. :V
It was fairly fun, but it felt a bit too linear, as in, there was only one use for each item, and it's pretty obvious what it is. It made the game feel a bit too easy.
The parchment was a pretty damn good puzzle, but I've played so many games that feature that sort of puzzle that it was pretty easy to figure it out. I particularly liked how
the way the keypad had buttons that looked important but weren't
The art is adorable, and the ending definitely took me by surprise.
Overall, I enjoyed it quite a bit.

I like this kind of games, so thanks for making it...))
The way you've made the password is the reason that attracts people to the genre.
Dark room, little girl, scary music - what else do we need?

This game was really well made. It was pretty easy, but the last puzzle was very good and took a few minutes to figure out!
I don't know about the ending though >_< Is there some kind of explanation?

Thank you everyone for your comments!

I know my game isn't perfect. I know there's plenty of faults and "what the heck was this guy thinking" moments, but I'm still so proud of what I've accomplished. :,D

The game was intended to be pretty easy except for the last puzzle which you need to put some thought into. I made the game with my little brother in mind :P

As for the ending, I know it's not exactly the ending you're expecting after all the hard work to get out, so sorry about that. Maybe I can spin it into a sequel of some sort? xD Something with harder puzzles perhaps.

BUT REALLY, thank you everyone for playing the game!
