Re: Sponsorship for projects
Is this just for the art side of projects or can it be for music as well?

Mostly just for the art side, because my general opinion on music is that there are tons of awesome royalty free tracks, they just have to be found. Professional quality tracks cost 600$/one and the cheap ones seem to be way below what can be found for free.Rinima wrote:Is this just for the art side of projects or can it be for music as well?
But if you have something interesting in mind here, we can always discuss it.

Re: Sponsorship for projects
Thanks to everyone for your interest!
Please keep in mind, that I'm NOT looking to INVEST into VN projects in any way, I want to help other hobbyists with their free projects.
Also I find it extremely rude when I'm asked to sponsor a "better" artist for a project with art already done. That means you don't respect other people's work.
I've already found a couple of projects - I'll list them here when all the details are agreed on. But that doesn't mean you can't apply anymore - just that I probably be more picky)))

Once I'm done with a script I may contact you. Either way, this is really awesome of you! One day I hope to do something like this.

Re: Sponsorship for projects
Thank you for the support!
Though as it seems the demand for such help is not that big at the forums and even the promise of free art doesn't motivate writers to work on their own project.
I'm not closing it though, so feel free to PM me.

Re: Sponsorship for projects
I wouldn't say that. See, a lot of people on this board are currently involved in projects already, e.g. me. My work does not appeal to you either since it's a fan project. But I already promised myKatta wrote:Thank you for the support!

Re: Sponsorship for projects
This is a good initiative you've set up, and I respect what you're doing here immensely. And that's not just because I may shoot you a project sometime down the line.
I would suggest that you should definitely take some credit if the projects turn out to be good. An Executive Producer role or something like that. That's really all EP's do nowadays in the movie business: slip some money to someone down the line to get a set-piece made or an extra scene written in that doesn't fit the overall budget-scheme. Either way, kudos.

Thank you!
It's not that important to me to get into credits, but I think it shouldn't be a problem anyway.
