@Kohaku: Holy cat! That's awesome, creepy but awesome. I feel sorry for the girl though, it must be hell to be in that condition : ( But man, I'd love to see a story revolving around that concept!
@unknown5: That's pretty cool! Love the seamless editing. Somehow the color and designs remind me of steampunk.
@Anne: I'm immediately reminded of the makeup transformation meme going around lately xD
Haven't had a lot of time lately so I'm submitting another sketch. I really should sit down and do a detailed piece next time. But hey, here's my submission this time. It's sort of a transformation sequence thing I guess? This started out as a quick figure drawing sketch so the poses are kinda weird.

@Anne: very cool pop art style!
@Kohaku: man, the ideas running your head. =)
@crestforge: wow! gorgeous sketches. kinda reminds me of yamashita.
how about for a topic ...
THE FALL
can go autumnal, accidental, biblical, comical, emotional, financial, architectural, etc.

^ Oh wow, I'm glad you think so. He's one of my biggest inspirations! ^____^
And here's my entry for this week! Tried painting for this piece and definitely had fun doing it. In case the filename doesn't give a hint, it's Lucifer as he's freshly thrown out of heaven and stripped off of his angelic splendor (at least that's what I had in my mind while drawing haha)

@crestforge: Whoa! my jaw dropped to the floor when first seeing this, that's fantastic and also reminds me a lot of gilgamesh from fate/stay night
Are you going to finish it or leave it as is?

Re: Weekly drawing -- source of drawing motivation!
Thanks! Yeah, now that I look at it, it does kinda resemble him.
I think I'll leave it like this. Funny thing is, I don't really know what to add (okay maybe add falling feathers and fix the background so it's not a jumbled mash of whatever and maybe polish it up) But yeah I kinda just wanted to try painting a character again and I didn't really care too much about anything else. And as soon as the character looked somewhat decent, I kinda lost interest ._.)

@0000-0000, I can show you some useful tutorials if you wish Just send me a private message if you are interested.
@Anne, this drawing gives off a nice pop style, really energetic!
@unknown5, wow! That's really well done and original. It reminds me of Giger's style ^^
@Kohaku, it's great how you improve with each submission
@crestforge, I laughed out loud at your metamorphosis drawing. I especially like the contrast between the two poses and also, great anatomy skills.
As for the Lucifer drawing, you could go for chiaroscuro and really use the light to sculpt out the volumes
Here's my late submission for "Breaking laws", plus the one for this week! As you can see, I'm using this thread to experiment lots of different techniques ^^

Re: Weekly drawing -- source of drawing motivation!
kinda stumped. couldn't really think of anything so i drew a hand and added grunged-up stock photo. dunno.
(actually, it does have to do with an old story idea i had, but i'll probably never have the time to ever finish it. QQ)
@crestforge: wow! i especially love pictures that tell a story. really cool.
@Railgun: heheh, very kinetic and eclectic. fun ideas. =)
Re: Weekly drawing -- source of drawing motivation!
@Railgun: Thanks, funny though because I feel the same way about everyone else which drives me further nice idea with the guy trying to achieve inner peace, I feel like that when drawing.
@unknown5: gives me the chills, last dying breath sort of thing although I want to believe that the other side of what you see is a row boat or something with someone about to save him, I can live in hope right
Well here's mine, went for a more sci-fi feel and added a process of how the idea developed, needs a lot of work still but not great at detailing.

Re: Weekly drawing -- source of drawing motivation!
@unknown5, cool concept! It somehow makes me think of the beach scene from the original Planet of the Apes ^^
@Kohaku, nice comp! It would be even more dynamic if the red laser was tilted though (horizontal lines create a sense of stability within the image).
And now, last late submission: Metamorphosis done with Chocojax yo
After that I'll take a break from the weekly drawings, being really busy and all.
