Along the Edge is a visual novel set in the European countryside. Your choices impact the main character's personality and appearance.
Story: Daphné is at a dead-end. She's unsatisfied by her personal and professional life. So, when she inherits an old family house in a remote part of the country, she jumps at the opportunity to start anew.
Does she decide to embrace her legacy or does she hang to her old way of life?
Along the Edge is developed by a small studio located at Bordeaux (France). We tried something slighty different with this game, we hope you will enjoy it. Screenshots gallery: http://alongtheedge-game.com/media/
Just started playing, and I imagine it'll take me a while to finish, but I have to say so far I am really enjoying it! Every aspect of the game is impressive and just works great together.
I haven't played enough yet to really comment on the story, but so far it has me hooked and I'm wanting to take my time to enjoy everything the game has to offer. Fantastic job!
Hi! This game looks really cool and the art really sucks me in. Now I'm really tempted to buy the game!
The gameplay seems like it would have a lot of endings, and I'm not really into unlocking everything, though... Do you have a walkthrough, or plan to make one, for this game? I'm mostly curious about the 'truth' ending, haha.
Hello propanoll !
Unlocking every "achievement" can be quite time consuming indeed, but there's no "good" or "bad" ending in Along the Edge, so you can very well play it once just to enjoy the story.
This game was amazing. Seriously the first post of this forum does not do justice to the game. It wasn't until I clicked on your itch.io: site that I saw the potential this game contains. There are lots of choices and replay value to this game.
I love the style of art this game has. I also love the story a lot, and the writing is great too.
The only questions are is it possible to fast forward through the game? It can be redundant going through the same thing multiple times. Also I would love to know what the personality symbols represent.
Hello victorita9, glad you enjoyed Along the Edge!
You can't "fast forward" in the game (all the answers are taken in account, so this kind of functionality may have blocked some of the endings, that's why we didn't put it in).
However, you can skip through the text quite quickly by hitting "space".
I just found out there are 3 romances! Who is the 3rd one? I got the former lover and the blond rich rich guy(I'm on a different computer and I forgot their names).
Along the Edge has been greenlit on Steam last week. To celebrate this (and the late arrival of summer in Europe), our interactive graphic novel will be 10% off for two weeks.
