Or any other program that doesn't let you uninstall it from the control panel, that is.
I have this weird problem with ImageZone asking me about documentviewer.msi for which the only solution seems to be to uninstall the whole thing but I can't do it since there's no "remove" button.
I tried some trials of programs made for this task, but they don't even show ImageZone in their list.

I'm just weird like that, if a program doesn't work properly I HAVE to wipe it from my PC, even if it was bundled with it when I bought it T_T...Any ideas?

Does it ask this on startup? If so, maybe removing the call to ImageZone from all the startup places could do the job? There's the regular place in the Start menu (is it Startup or Run, I don't know the english name).... and then it's all in the registry base, which is a bit less fun.

Nope, only if I try to use ImageZone.I found a solution on a HP forum, but it implies I uninstall it first, and I'd like to uninstall all the other HP programs I will never use(such as the photosmart stuff...)
The thing is Imagezone *is* useful from time to time, and it works, if only I could skip all those error messages it would start in less than 5 mins T_T

Hmmm... I dunno ._. ... Do you have a CD that would allow you to reinstall it instead? Maybe it never was installed properly? Mm... has it always thrown that error or did it happen after a while? (ie. has it ever worked properly?)

Yep, it's shipped with the printer. But it also was installed on my PC without my knowing(it's an HP) so when I installed the printer it installed HP image zone plus.I don't remember if I ever used it before having the printer(but i bought it shortly after the pc) but i can say that both IZ and Plus don't work.
I'll try following your suggestion though and re-install it from the CD :3

*and if it works I'll draw you a nekomimi ;P )

Despite Lemma having applied to HP, this is off-topic for this forum.

Um... it's mostly just totally off topic for the forum period. But if you have to post them, general is the only appropriate place.

Hm... I've let them slide before, which was probably a bad idea. What worries me is that if we allow general tech support questions (as opposed to those related to VNs/Bishoujo Games/etc, or the production of same), we'll attract more of those questions... which is more and more off-topic material.

(I get the feeling that tech support is special in this way, which is why I'm less worried about other kinds of off-topic material.)
