Re: Last game you played?
It was Horizon Zero Dawn, and Ryuu ga Gotoku 6 on PS4, and Software Inc, Senua Sacrifice, BF1, L4D2 (Resident Evil maps), Evil Within 2.
Also had some time with Summer Lesson: Chisato Shinjo and Resident Evil 7 on PSVR..
Summer Lesson was longer than VR Kanojo (very short story-wise, around 5-10 min max). Summer Lesson: Chisato Shinjo, like the other Summer Lesson games, the DLC is OVER-Priced... 2000 yen for a 15-20 minutes scenario add-on and couple of costume.. Without DLC, Summer Lesson is a skeleton of a game with almost ZERO content.
But on my Oculus Rift, VR Kanojo had more freedom in movement as it is Roomscale. PSVR does do very limited "small" roomscale, but Summer Lesson will "black screen" if you moved too much, it is mostly a sitting game..
Resident Evil 7 on PSVR..... It is a abysmal experience, not as in the game is bad, but I SUFFERED SEVERE MOTION SICKNESS...
"Aircar" on Oculus Rift for the PC was EVEN WORSE than RE7, I get the sense of vomit in less than 2 minutes of "playing" it...
Horizon Zero Dawn and Gotoku 6 were the best though. Still have to finish Uncharted Lost Legacy though.. VR still has a long road ahead. Mostly a console gamer,
but built a PC rig in the Summer 2017 (Threadripper 1950X + GTX 1080ti) mainly for UE4 VR Development, and occasional VR gaming.

Re: Last game you played?
I very recently played Minecraft Storymode and I have to say, with subtitles enabled, I was forever questioning if I was playing a generic game or interacting with an experimental Visual Novel.
I was actually impressed by the game and story. It comes across as a game for kids around 10-12 (a guess) but I actually found myself enjoying it quite well despite being almost 30 myself.
It all started when I found the first episode was free on SEN (PSN)

I can't remember if it was Dark Souls 3 or Persona 5. Though I must admit, for the most part, I was just backseat gaming and watching my sister play while I direct her every move. Been fun though. But that's for console.
I also played Undertale recently on Steam. I still haven't gotten into a fully immersed moment where I'm playing Undertale and nothing else, because I've been busy with real world stuff that I can't hope to ignore. So until then, my Undertale play time is inevitably stuck at 30 minutes.

The last game I finished was Blackberry Honey. Currently I'm near the end of VA-11 Hall-A.
Blackberry Honey was beautiful and I really enjoyed it. I am loving VA-11 Hall-A hardcore.

Playing the TFQ https://games.renpy.org/game/tfq
This is great. I started a new game and the first thing I see is a flashing light on a bomb hidden under a desk xD

osu!
Great for anybody that loves rhythm games + it's free (as long as you don't blow your money on a fancy keyboard and tablet like I did)

Re: Last game you played?
I recently decided to buy Bad Apple War (I think that's it's name anyway) and even though I've only finished one route I really like it, Satoru best boy
Other than that I've also played some other games like FNV, Bioshock 2 multiplayer, and CK2

Completed Salt and Sanctuary last week and starting my second run. I never knew I liked Soulslikes before I found that little gem.

Re: Last game you played?
Out of boredom, I downloaded Moe! Ninja Girls on my Android phone the other day.
While I don't like the story (crappy writing, overused cliches, bad pacing, etc) and the game is clearly designed as a money pit (expensive DLC out the wazoo that you NEED, in order to progress, game runs from a server.), I appreciated the UI so much that I felt I had to mention it.
I think most of the things in this game can be replicated in Ren'Py with minimal work

Re: Last game you played?
My friend has always been recommending The Legend of Heroes series by Falcom, so I just started Trails in the Sky.
So far I think the amount of text and attention to detail is amazing! I haven't even left the first area. It seems like the townsfolk always have something new to say every time I complete a quest. They feel like real people reacting to my actions in the world. I don't think there are that many JRPGs that do that.
If you've ever considered playing the series, I highly recommend it.
