Re: Isobellesophia's art.
Regarding anatomy, or at least rough proportions and shading, I would get something like this for drawing from reference.
You don't need to buy expensive brands, you can get the same thing, usually from the same factory in China, for much cheaper if you know where to look (e.g. Chinese online shopping sites). As far as I know, body kun and body chan are the most popular variants. You can find them of various proportions and ages (child, teenager, adult, chibi) and you can get lots of accessories and swappable hands. I have tried using digital 3D models and posing them (too slow) and also the old wooden mannequins (too stiff and with limited range of movement) but neither worked well for me. These look really interesting.
These figures aren't going to solve all your problems or teach you anatomy, but they would probably be useful for blocking out an image. I might buy them myself one day, and I definitely would get these if I were still a student. You can also try books on anatomy and life drawing classes when you are older.
As I mentioned earlier, if you want to save money, you can. Last time I checked these were 5-10 times cheaper on Chinese shopping sites. We shop on these sites a lot as we live in Taiwan, they always exceed our expectations. They have so many amazing products these days.
