Position: Project Director
Location: Initially remote, with a potential transition to our Tokyo, Japan office based on performance and project needs.
Contract Type: This is a contract-based, project-specific role. Renewal options will be evaluated based on the game's success and individual performance.
Salary: Negotiable. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and project demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of game development, from concept to completion.
- Lead, inspire, and manage a multidisciplinary team to ensure project goals are met.
- Collaborate closely with writers, artists, designers, and other key stakeholders to craft a cohesive vision.
- Scout and recruit potential talent, including artists, writers, and other essential team members.
- Navigate team dynamics, ensuring open communication and resolution of any issues.
- Provide regular project status updates to both internal teams and the larger community.
- Engage with the game's community, addressing concerns, collecting feedback, and ensuring transparent communication.
- Implement innovative game mechanics and ensure a balance between narrative and gameplay.
- Maintain a pulse on market trends, competitor products, and player feedback to guide design decisions.
- Assure the end product aligns with Myosuki’s brand and quality standards.
- Participate in marketing and promotional efforts, acting as a spokesperson when needed.
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and grow a team.
- Strong project management, organizational, and talent acquisition skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the visual novel genre, market trends, and dynamics.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in community engagement.
- Ability to craft and articulate a strong vision for a game project.
- Willingness to be hands-on, proactive, and engage in both problem-solving and decision-making.
- Openness to feedback and agility to adapt in a dynamic environment.
