Eclipse -> Well.... i may not torture you guys for so long....

My project is going to be called "Iluminaire". It's about a young man called Laos, that recieves a letter in his 20th birthday from his "departed" father.
The letter was written before he died a long time ago and was instructed to be given only on his son's 20th birthday. The letter had direction for Laos to go to an unkown city in the far east..... something about "Iluminaire" and an heritage. He is supposed to meet an old friend of his father there, a man called Menfrit. With nothing to lose, Laos packs his things and ventures foward to his destiny.

I hope this gets the attention of you guys.

I got eclipse's response for the hints for this game. the only thing I'm echoing is what's gonna tick off a lot of people:

so, basically, until somebody posts a hacked script file (or possibly a hacked savegame file), ending 0 is unattainable. sorry, guys, but this came right out the horse's mouth.

(that still leaves two possible endings for me to get. I'm working on them...)

Review:

A truly excellent peice of story telling coupled with fine art work (when I showed it to my sister she began to critisied until I said i liked it more than hers....) and emotive music, one of my favorite Renai games and was clearly made with care and attention, maybe even love.

My first ending: Elena + Bonus

Covered Endings:
1
2 + bonus
3+ bonus
4
5
6
7

Now, at first I could only get the main three and still can't get the number one bonus, after I acciedntly got Elena + Vivian I hunted down the others but couldn't do it, so I made tree diagrams that repersented the possible endings and any bonuses and I only came to 7. Something must be wrong with my math.......
Also, I was so enthralled with Elena shes gracing my desktop.

the 8th ending hinges on whether or not one choise point has three choises (Vivian, Nadine, and Elena) or four (previous three + ?????????). there are two places where a fourth choise can be "unlocked", but they must A) be done on the same run through the game, and B)have to be picked when they are unlocked. [no, persistant data is not used. you could get these choises on your first run through if you are lucky or knew what to do]

how'd you get #7? I'm still trying to get that one! (between playing other games and programming... not too much spare time and not too good a memory :oops:

)

okay... not gonna ask. If I had the chance to, I'd have anime characters (female ones) on both of mine. (two monitors, and my video card control panel allows me to make a special split desktop image from two existing images. it's nothing too complicated. hope that clears things up about "multiple desktops")

I got ending 7 once, but I've never been able to do it again when I've tried, despite following what I thought was the way I went to get it first time

I was attempting a ending "0" before I even knew one existed, i couldn't see an obvious way of making people hate me so I just Made sure that each girl had roughly the same number of "points" at the end, but I started getting Miss B options I'd never seen before and started going for those, I might of got 7 by some how fluffing up an 8 ending but i dunno.........
Actually Elena has recently been replaced with "Murphy's Laws of Combat" on my desktop but thats something different.......

A little tip about the bonuses: you have to get a majority of the choices correct for a particular female to get the bonus section.

Bwaaa, I'm not really that bright! Although I always knew you could get Ms. B, but I went through so much trial-error/notetaking that I felt victorious nevertheless. I plan to get back to Kykuit though. To see how things go with my second favorite, Nadine.

Ummm, actually, that third secret info isn't by any chance that one I should probably know of (or I know, but then I don't - because I don't know it completely - you know I know ONE part because I know it,... but there should be OTHER parts, right... so I see them(?), but I don't know...) ...?
