Oh nice. I just got a tablet again so that's why I asked. What is your typical workflow? Like do you do things all digital?

A combination of both. I draw, draw, draw, draw, draw literally everyday and I do take tips from other artists and whatnot. I'm pretty much self taught in a way though.

Well, I look at... A LOT of tutorials. It really depends on which programs you're using to color digitally. I use a combination of Paint Tool SAI and Photoshop 7 to work on my images. What I do tend to look at if I want to improve my skills/learn something new are from here:

Deji's List of Resources by Deji
My Ref Collection-- This is basically a collection in my favorites that are full of reference pictures, whether they are for digital coloring, traditional, or anything I need to look up.

If you're using SAI, I particularly like this tutorial. There is a part one where the user explains the tools of SAI, this is the actual coloring process.
SAI Tutorial by Rueme

For Photoshop, Meago is an excellent artist to refer to.
Speed CGing (Photoshop) by Meago.

There is a reason why I have many tutorials to look at. It's because I don't have a set way of CGing and my style is still evolving so to speak. I highly advise not to try to follow a tutorial step by step. You need to experiment with CGing yourself to see what works for you. These tutorials are simply tips for me to see what I can do to improve or tricks I can employ myself.

Nowadays, yes. Most of my pieces start and finish off digitally. But sometimes I'll do a rough sketch on paper, scan it in, and then fill out the rest. Here's a picture that I've been working on steadily. This started out from a pencil sketch. Then I scanned it in and traced everything in blue (roughly). Then I made the lineart, filled in base colors and started shading.

A little something I've been working on so I can keep my coloring practice up. That and I needed to draw a guy and some sort of posing going on including a BG. Basically, I'm trying new stuff

Well, this pic is related to my project Phase Shift so I might as well put it here too. I took too long on this and in the end only the people and food look good ;;;

(Fun Fact-- There will be a scene similar to what you see here in Phase Shift. Ai has a big appetite :) )

Nice! I wonder how many hours it took you to draw a cg?
