I think this is going to be one of the few slice-of-life VNs I'm actually going to try :P The art is really cute and the astrology theme might end up being even more interesting than it already sounds. Also, I liked the plot summary - oddballs? I'M IN.

Looking forward to updates ^^!

@Lanna Haha, yay! Hurrah. I hope you'll enjoy the game when (*cough*...if...*cough*) I finish. >w< Oddballs rule? ;D

--------

Anyone lurking around in this thread : d'you think it'd be better to have different outfits for the characters or just stick with one outfit per character? I know it's kind of "standard" to have the characters in one outfit (it'd actually be quite a lot of work to have both different poses and different outfits... >.>), but I feel it might get kind of boring after a while. Personally, I've played some VNs and I actually don't mind that much, but variation might be fun. What I'm thinking of doing is having a few different outfits for different settings. Basically, outfit 1 for school, outfit 2 for casual weekend chilling around (lolwut), outfit 3 for a character's part-time job (...or something), and so on.

What's your opinion on this? (: Please tell me your thoughts! (i.e. not "whatever you want, you're the creator!" lol)
Gah. I just wrote a whole novel there... =.=

That's nice! In my opinion you should, but most people don't do it since it's troublesome (me too ^^;) if you have the time and lots of dedication, why not?

I think, if it's long, you should do it. (Admittedly, that's what Zanahoria, the artist for black butterfly, is doing for me XD)
Also, it'd make more since this is based in modern-day, where we have to change our clothes. :D

Personally, I'd love to see different oufits! :D I love such details in games~ and it'd be a lot more realistic than seeing them in the same outfit all the time haha.

Thanks for your input on the subject, guys!
I completely agree that just one outfit would be kind of blah, so I'll just go along with my original planning.
(The characters will have different outfits, I mean.) I WILL PERSEVEREEE. >w<

--------

Anyway, I finished the sprites for Riley + Zach... *rejoices* They're not absolutely final, so there are some awkward-looking aspects of the characters. xD (...Especially for Zach. I was like, "ZACH IS A COOL CHARACTER. YEAH GOTTA GIVE HIM COOL CLOTHES." And...uh, well. Let's just say... this is why I never wanted to be a fashion designer as a little girl.) ...Man, I just totally abused CAPSLOCK. And ellipses.

Also. LOL. The stick figure. ...That's my placeholder for characters I haven't drawn yet. Sexy, eh? ;D

Don't worry, I'm having lots of trouble with clothing designs myself - I think lots of people have, actually XD I'm so bad at it, I can't even design clothes which are supposed to be horrible XD

I think they both look fine though! It's so nice to see simple, yet pretty, clothes once in a while :D

Also, I want to date the stick figure.

Haha. YUP. That class BG is the best thing ever. D: I can't fail and can't follow the method (even with the tutorial), though.
So I'll have to stick to my poorly-photoshopped photographs for backgrounds. ;_;
...And thanks, you nice person! My friends always diss my feminine-looking guys, hahaha.

NO, YOU'VE GOT SUCH GORGEOUS CLOTHING DESIGNS. They're so bright and colourful and coooool. ;D Heehee.
And YES, show some stick-figure-love! >w<

These screens contain a total of 1532 words,
for an average of 9.4 words per screen.
The game contains 11 menus.

...There's not a lot, but I'm doing it! ;D YOSH.

Dang, that's more menus than me, and I'm at 7673 words. XD

Aww, I understand your pain on clothing designs -_-; I'm very thankful that the artist working on mine can think of good designs XD

You're clothes look fine to me ^^ Though perhaps they could use a little more details. Like buttons on Zachary's (I think that's written there?) vest, or a zipper on their pants. Just some small things here and there to make it look slightly more realistic :)
And a simple way to make a simple shirt look, uhm.. a little less simple is to make the edges a different color, or by adding a simple image on it. Don't really know what the proper way to say this is ^^" So here's a (very quick/ugly sketched) picture showing you what I mean:

If you're really having trouble with it, try looking through some fashion magazines or at some fashion sites.
And then just pick guys A shirt, B's pants and C's earrings or something. Or just copy a whole outfit :P

wow, this looks awesome! and about the cloth line, it's nice to have variation and yep like the post above, magazines and some helpful resources would do the deal. You can also use a survey or like that. do your best and i'll really look forward to this XD
