It works for me, at least. (and I do have Ablock Plus on and cookies allowed)

Well, it's clearly working for some people, so that is better than nothing. I just wish I knew why it's not working here

Zumi: It just doesn't do anything. I click on the download link, it appears to refresh the page (and prompts for a cookie since I have Firefox set to ask first), and nothing happens. Even when I whitelisted and set the cookies to 'allow' rather than 'allow for session' it just loads and loads for about a minute, then stops. The page always looks the same.

It doesn't help, unfortunately. I did notice a quirk, though - it appends ?err-no-sess to the end of the URL each and every time, no matter my settings, no matter how many times I go through the cycle.

Thanks for the backup link. I'm going to see if I have any better luck with 4shared on the desktop computer first (I'm on a netbook at the moment). Who knows, maybe it'll work - I've had stranger things happen! And if it does work, I'll just chalk it up to something weird with the netbook.

Oh yeah, I didn't put any walkthrough, so if you want to ask or make a walkthrough, please do.

Sendspace works fine. I also tested 4shared on the desktop, and that took me through to the download countdown (I canceled) -- and I figured out where things went awry! I did another search in my cookie list on the netbook, and the cookies for 'www.4shared' were blocked for some reason unlike the others. Mystery solved. I'm a dunce. D'oh!

(I'm amused at Sendspace's message about being limited to 80k/s download speed. Adorable how they assume everyone's connection is capable of more.)

It just finished. Thanks for putting it up, and sorry it ended up being my own foolishness that made it necessary in the first place

I think I'm going to wait until tomorrow to play, though -- it's already almost 3 AM here and I really should be asleep...maybe this whole mess wouldn't have happened if I'd waited.
