I like your clean, smooth lines and some of the colour details I see

Here her arms are going behind her back I take it, so in this position her shoulders are pushed back. This is one of the cases where the width of her left shoulder be equal to or smaller than that of the right shoulder, depending of the angle of the shot. Here are some suggestions on how the piece could be improved:

Outfit sketches, nothing too fancy, and nothing to critique here really. Although I'm gonna do some more Google-fu to find more websites whose outfits I can reference. (The fourth drawing on the far right is my favorite, the jacket I referenced was super cute!)

Thank you! I love playing around with colors and this was all done in SAI.

I'm a SAI user through and through with Photoshop CS6 for tweaks. I've been experimenting in Manga Studio 5, but every time I do, I find I don't like the feel of the tools in that program compared to SAI.

Trying to practice my soft shading again. All things considered I did keep the technique simple, but I seriously gotta figure out how I want my hair done.

Drawing of a friend's OC!! Everything else was fun except for the hand... I need to do some hand exercises this week.

Still, I had fun experimenting with eye style! Might try to keep this one around.

I'm always envious of people with clean lines, and i've wanted to be able to draw an anime style since i was 12, which is too long ago for me to be comfortable thinking about.
I've actually just come back to this forum after like 2 years because i've finally found the time to make something with ren'py and am have a great time looking at all the art threads.
