Let's just say it's still coming along... it's below priority of the other stuff, remember ^_^

well, just keep working on it. I'm hoping this gets released by February... (why? personal reasons, but nothing that prevents me from enjoying it regardless of release date)

It should be a safe bet that it will be released before February. I'm aiming for a release within a month, depending on how the other stuff goes (including having to move @_@ )

Well, good luck, you'll make my g/f happy because she liked the original SA (she grew up on pacman and lemmings, playing games long before I knew how to switch on a computer), so I have my fingers crossed for you.

PS: Move? Didn't you do that just a few months ago? :?

Moved for an internship, and now that it's wrapping up, it's time to move back @_@

It is so nice to see that someone other is interested about a editor... :)

I've finished moving back home and have started work on the editor again. The user interface for setting shoujo abilities is now done :D I'm going back to work on more.

Newly implemented features: tilesets, setting level properties (width, height, time, etc.), show/hide layers, testing the level in progress 8)

The hard part is deciding how I'm going to save levels. A level consists of a few bitmaps and some other data. Hmm... :?

I'll probably release a beta version as soon as I get some level saving going on.

Sigh, thanks for the hard work... but really seems none is actually interested... :(

I think they'll all come out of the woodwork once it's completed. ;)

I'm positive that Eclipse is right. It's just that there isn't a whole lot to talk about until there's something we can see and use- and offer suggestions for improvement

Okay, I decided to use file chunking for the saving of levels. I'm thinking you will be able to edit individual levels with the editor and then have the ability to group the levels into your own channels for distribution in a single file 8) First will be the saving of individual levels, though, for a beta.

Sounds really good. Will you be able to edit levels in a channel from the released files? I think it might be kind of nice to disallow people from hacking apart your levels... Maybe a password or something...
