|D My cousins showed me it, and I'm like ...

I mean it's funny |D; But I'm not really into it.

The colors of the ponies remind me of desserts though. XD

A few days ago, I wrote about how one of my crazy ideas was a "friendship game" based on MLP:FIM. I figured that no one besides me would be interested...

...and then I found this post on Equestria Daily: http://www.equestriadaily.com/2011/06/f ... g-sim.html In short, someone from /b/ wants to create a fan game about the ponies' relationships using Renpy. Who knows how far they'll get... Since I've only seen a few episodes of Friendship is Magic so far, I don't currently feel qualified to help.

Hahaha, I'd have to say http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zHZj8Xp-Ik is the best video. Though my sense of humor is pretty dumb so, yeah...

Anyone collecting the toys? :D I just started my collection last week. I have all of the ponies except for Apple Jack and Celestia (I'm boycotting Celestia until they make her white like in the show hahaha), and Pinkie Pie and Rarity's playsets. Also just got two Fashion ponies, again, Pinkie Pie and Rarity. (I want AJ's fashion style toy so bad, but I can't find it ANYWHERE! D< )

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pgpazSm ... re=related made me giggle ^^

I considered starting to collect them, but I already have too much junk xD But why did they make Celestia pink? o_O
BTW: If you have not watched that show before, WATCH IT. It is the manliest girly show you will ever watch. No joke.
^ Perfect way to describe MLP.

Oh, and in the latest news, game! Though I would advise you not to let your little brother, sister or cousin play this, this is ages 15 and up. (And no, I'm not telling why, only that it's a really neat idea for a MLP story.)

I've figured it out. This show is guys' Hetalia. Just stupid enough to keep you watching, intended for kids, and interest in it is mostly because it's a harem of the opposite sex. Now I don't feel so bad for not liking it; I was never meant to. (For the record, I don't like APH either.)

The thing is, it's not stupid. It's written amazingly for what it's supposed to be- a show for 8 year old girls. The writer herself is a feminist who believes that little girls deserve better, more intelligent cartoons, and she really gave them one with FiM.

The only people I've heard of who dislike it usually take it too seriously, or dislike it because it's "popular". People love it because it brings back childhood memories of when cartoons were good (The creators of FiM actually created many childhood favorites like Power Puff Girls, Dexter's Lab, My life as a Teenage Robot and so on). The characters are all unique and interesting, each episode has a well-put-together plot with a message that even an adult can apply to their life.

Hetalia intended for kids? Where did you hear that? There's quite a few "F**k"s, sexual innuendos just in the first few episodes- The narrator even calls the characters "assholes" in the first ep of Chibitalia: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-9YabtsAFo. Also, what kid would even understand most of the humor, they don't get taught indepth world history till their teens. It's just a parody show that, again, shouldn't be taken so seriously.

That game makes me nostalgic for some old school RPGs. It's amazing how pixelated art with a 32 colour pallet can fire up the imagination so much.

Sorry, I didn't mean "stupid" as if the shows were actually stupid. I meant, silly. In a good way. Though, me saying I don't prefer either would have it come off as being saying they were legitimately stupid. Sorry, not what I meant.

I didn't hear it so much as watched the first few episodes ... It's Japan, so I could be totally wrong. They love childish things even as adults. I figured it was supposed to teach history. Also, what you linked to is a dub, not the original. So it's not really proof of anything. Researching it myself, it appears to just be a manga. But you have to admit it's presented very much like a Japanese children's show.

Haha, if you think that's scary, you should read Cupcakes and/or Rocket To Insanity. They're 1000% more scary, just in case you need to stay up for a few days.
