Preliminarily, end of Randy-path is reached. The final chapter of Randy's branch is running a little shorter than I like, but I can't currently think of anything else crucial to add at the moment and I don't want to put in pointless filler just to pad the runtime, so.
That brings us to:
2 major branches complete
8 endings reachable
95 fullscreen images in loadable folder (that covers backgrounds, puzzle backgrounds, and event CGs, I don't currently have them sorted)
... and three major branches left to go.
*looks exhausted*

Preliminary completion of Lucy branch.
11 endings reachable.
Size of dialog files (including code commands like changing the display name or making something appear/disappear, but not including the database structure the files are stored in) 391K.
Three major branches complete (ish - there are things that I already need to go back and add to Jeremy and Randy).
Two major branches remaining.
Current number of fullscreen image files in data folder: 117.

I think Elizabeth's branch is going to be dropped for now.
Main reasons:
1. The other branches are really tightly interwoven, and Elizabeth's by nature is either going to have to repeat half of Tim's branch, or go off on a total tangent quite apart from the rest of the story. Which would probably be art-heavy. Which is making me wince now that I start to count up how much this is all going to cost and figure out what corners I need to cut.
2. The only thing I really have planned for Elizabeth's branch is some fanservice anyway, to a degree that's sort of out of keeping with the way the rest of the game has developed.
Which makes her an ideal candidate for the cutting room floor, to be spliced back in later should the game ever turn out popular enough to deserve a deluxe edition.
(Speaking of which, if you have a non-deluxe version of Cute Knight, upgrades to Deluxe are now on sale....)

I'm on vacation and not getting any scripting done, luckily contractors continue to do work.
A couple of graphics have been added to

Theme music begins to be developed and is COOL.

Re: Fatal Hearts
Full status update soon because Chapter 3 Tim Branch is almost finished, but until then:

A very blurry peek at one of the minigames, complete with cheesy console RPG music.
I now have a whole stable of artists I'm constantly chasing around to keep track of while trying to write new scripts, but IF I can keep everyone going this should be done by the end of the year.
