hasn't even started for us in the states just yet. When it comes to religious nut bags, The mid east it the only one that beats us.

I'm excited. Ill watch everyone burn while listing to some hard rock. I think I might even have a party. I love the end of the world days, all my friends freak out. They are the most entertaining days of my life.

Personally, I'm hoping for a non-hostile alien landing or something that results in magic/superpowers entering our world.
I'm choosing to take this end of the world thing as merely being the end as we know it.

Their plan was to shoot up Tony Hillerman Middle School in December on 12-12-12, according to police.

Makes me wonder how much growing up guidance they received.... I feel bad for their parents.

Seriously, most people can't even imagine how happy I will be once we have 2013.
No great philosopher that predicted the end of the world in that year, no calendars running out and no repdigit for 100 years.
I will just stay at home on the 21th (since I won't have any classes on fridays) and enjoy myself.

At least, today was fine here in germany.
Except from many marriages and proposals all over the country we were fine.
But then again, we are quite atheistic, so we don't believe in the end of the world seriously (at least not on prediction).

Maybe you should play some "Shadowrun".
It's a P&P about how on the 21.12.12 a dragon appeared in asia, then 2/3 of humanity dies due to a plague and how we then get divided into elfs, orks and stuff to be magical cyberspace-bandidts.
Based on the believe that the calendar does not show the end of the world, but the return of magic.
Who knows, maybe you're lucky and they are right. Then you have a chance of surviving everything and can become a magical cowboy sneaking up through the matrix or something xD

Here, it has been December 13, 2012 in my calender and everything is fine. Hope it will be like this again on December 21 :p
