Hm, I think I may have found a project for NaNoReno. >x> I mean, there's one where the character's girlfriend is an alpaca. Or turns into one. Either way, at some point she's an animal.

Regular sprite image for Everlaster. Still a lot to work on, but it looks pretty good now.

I am doing a mini Ludum Dare Next week and this is a tablet sketch of one of the characters:


Drawing teen-aged boys is hard. My first try ended up looking like he was 35. (I thought he was cute, but my tastes are a little different than a teen-aged girl. )

It's the other way around for me. No matter how old I try to make them looks, they always ends up as lolies (especially girls).

Since none of my super-secret project characters have fully-finalized designs yet... here's the main character from a kinetic novel I will eventually write.
Somewhere in the Confederate South, in the middle of the woods, in a run-down little shack stuffed full of every kind of lamp and candle in existence... is a strange and wonderful lady who claims to be a moth.

Hmm, this is just a character I made for one of the Roleplay in Gaia before. I kinda miss doing linearts. I also want to make a game out of her but I. just. couldn't. think. of. a. right. plot. =_= Oh well~~

Completely non-visual novel related. I hope that's okay. Old piece that I've just come around to coloring. The hair alone took me about 2-3 hours. One of these days I really need to stop drawing lolis, but I have a feeling that's not going to happen. ^^;

WOAH! - if i could colour like that, I'd be a happy camper XD
But i dont think I have the patience to spend 2-3hours on hair D8!!!

They do look somehow similar. :O Twins? Hahaha. Separated at birth
You art's gorgeous. Now, I miss drawing freely more than ever.

It's true it's hard to come up of a background story for a character, but I prefer creating them on my own than having somebody else to write about it. I'm rather picky and nitpick. xD It's like saying your characters are your babies born from your imagination <3

And I like them having little quirks, so they won't turn into mary or gary sues.

That's the most beautiful style I've seen in a while!
...And that means something because I've been looking at lots portfolios to find an artist to commission for my next project.
