How do they do these effects?

I read this was made with Ren'Py

I like it.

Anybody know how they did these 3 effects.

1.) Bus exterior animation (that looks like a 3d model moving around)
2.) Rain backGround Rain (is that particles or a panning overlay with opacity)
3.) Water on the Lake

if anyone cares, I figured it out.
those effects are most likely not done in Ren'Py
as they are part of a video file.
