Yes, I love how SunKitten's clearly kept the same character design, but made the same characters look a couple of years older
Tohko's story is being very interesting to write, because there are three different ways you can start off: Tohko with Kei, Tohko with Takuya, or neither. There are going to be an awful lot of different outcomes, one way or another.
Hirana is indeed an elf, and a delightful one. Kei is also being a lot of fun to write: it's fun having a protagonist with a bit more personality than Takuya... and Takuya is also developing more personality himself now that he's an NPC.
I'm somewhat kicking myself for the amount of branching I've introduced. The total number of choices per chapter, and over the story as a whole, will be pretty similar to Elven Relations; and the main plot is fairly consistent between playthroughs, with a couple of significant variations; but certain differences arise from a 6-fold branch in Chapter 2, and the 8-fold branch in Chapter 1 that I've already told you about; and there'll be a similar 6-fold branch in Chapter 3... This is rather slowing down my progress through the early chapters :-S
However, I'm glad to say I've finally pushed myself through a bit of writer's block that I had for a week, where I couldn't figure out how a particular conversation could plausibly get where I needed it to get, particularly with Kei's interference That one had me stuck for about a week, during which all I really got done was filling in a couple of "TODO" sections I'd left in earlier scenes. But I'm past it now.
I'm now going on holiday for a week, but should have plenty of little chunks of time to keep scriptwriting during that time away!
