p20shandi, in case you didn't know, most of the fan-made games on this forum are archived at http://www.renai.us.

Many fan translated VNs are at http://www.insani.org

Need more info? Then be sure to ask.

Thanks for the link :D . I'm searching for a visual novel like Ever 17,Clannad. Better if it available for free...
Most of the games I found were hentai, so if you know other links where I can get a non-hentai VN please tell me.

It's probably wise to try before you buy. Not too long ago, I made the mistake of purchasing two games which I figured were about to receive full fan translations. Unfortunately, both projects were abandoned...

1. Renai Blogger: http://jphinano.wordpress.com/2008/12/2 ... d-readers/ A humorous, heartwarming visual novel about fandom.

2. Nummyz' Flash games: http://nummyz.com/games.html#sims Not much story here, but the simulation-style gameplay can be interesting. This content is better written than certain Newgrounds Flash games which I could name...

3. The PK Girl (Windows only, requires free program called ADRIFT): http://www.wurb.com/if/game/1897 It's interactive fiction with cute art. If you get confused by some of the puzzles, then do a few creative web searches. You can probably still find some hint guides which don't outright tell you the answers, but which are still helpful.

4. Idolcraft (Windows only, download link may damage a PC): http://www.rpgrevolution.com/forums/ind ... opic=13025 An idol-training game, created with RPG Maker XP.

5. Hanako Games: http://www.hanakogames.com Lots of free demos, but please be aware that most full games require payment.

6. Brass Restoration: http://yandere.gray7.com/?p=64 (some download links might damage a PC) Not mentioned on Insani.org, but it's a fan translation of a freeware, all ages visual novel.

Katawa Shoujo is planned to become an adult game, but chapter one of their visual novel has no objectionable material.

Sadly, a lot of attempts at creating games have died. The "Ijima High" project is no more, and neither "Love Revolution" nor "Love Revolution: Fragile Hearts" have been updated in years.

Which VN's did you find that were hentai? Just out of curiousity...

There's some content on Newgrounds -- a site which gets a lot of attention on search engines -- which is marked 18+. Some of is genuinely NSFW, but some isn't.

(To be more specific, the version of Love Hina Sim Date which I played had gratuitous swearing, fairly mild bath scenes, a somewhat risque dress up minigame... and nothing else offensive. The Naruto flash game on that site which is GxB has no adult content, but it's stuck in that category.

Would you happen to have a link to where this version can be played and know how to get to those scenes, or have a shot?

I searched and found http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Can_you_take_ ... a_sim_date but no answer.

If you're interested in free visual novels, I really recommend Narcissu! That was what got me into the community many years ago :D. You can find it with a quick Google search. It's even on Steam now.

You can find some free visual novels on steam. For example Narcissu, Sunrider and Everlasting Summer. The last one made by...russian developers, if I'm not mistaken, but still it's pretty good.
