Just wanted to throw in some alternative examples. Due to cancel culture/wokeness Steam and other places may not be a good place for your game Even popular social media like Reddit, Facebook and Twitter are censorship happy.

This list game from a very good source on open-source alternatives to use:
It's FOSS link : https://itsfoss.com/mainstream-social-m ... ternaives/
  • Minds (Facebook alternative)
  • Aether (Reddit alternative)
  • Mastodon (Twitter alternative)
  • Revolt (Discord alternative)
  • Dispora (Facebook alternative)
  • LBRY (Youtube alternative, Videos with adult content accepted, meaning you could post game trailers even if they contain erotic or adult content)

Itch.io is pretty friendly to adult games and is free to use. They also don't give issues when using a VPN either.

Apart from itchio, even some video game pirate sites could serve as a means to get your game out, people assume pirates don't contribute or give anything back. Yes some are just pure parasites, but there are plenty who will help promote your game and support it in a way that they can.
