Re: ClichéTV: Indefinite Hiatus

also, some of the PMs I've gotten from gear have been pretty crazy. You betrayed the project and joined in Moya screwing with the Dropbox files, and revealing data to people we hadn't decided to. Treason, I think is the word, and in most countries, you can be put to death. Granted, this is no countr...

Re: ClichéTV: Indefinite Hiatus

This was not due to any "past members", it was Gear's decision alone and implicating past collaborators is both incorrect and unfair. Also, it should not be allowed on this forum. Going by what renpytom said in another thread- All negative comments about another user's behavior must be bac...

^ Agree with Anarchy's suggestion totally. Though I would use a little of the original colour scheme. @Dollywitch Sorry for double posting '.' I wanted to reply to you separately because you mostly agreed with Anarchy. Like I said above, I'm not sure how that would work? I'd really love some more i...

Again it's your decision and I know you're a little sensitive about it.

Re: Good 3D game-making engine that easy to use?

Any 3D is difficult to do. The physics and level design will be just more complex. However things like animation can become easier especially if you're doing cartoony graphics. Animating sprites is a bit of a nightmare. But with 2D games you can go with 8 bit style graphics and it'll work out fine. ...

I like how it looks in the avatar. It's a nice drawing but I'm not sure it should be the character's signature look/pose.

Re: [Demo!] The World is Made of Paper

Looks interesting but I still couldn't tell you what it's actually "about" :) Art style is kinda nice. It does give the feeling that they evolved from bored doodles a writer did with their pen while working out characters.

Re: Joining A Team Versus Working Solo

By "any means" has some pretty frightening implications. There should be some basic decency, no matter what position you're in.

Re: Joining A Team Versus Working Solo

Being some kind of a minority too doesn't mean you over-ride the say of someone else with different life experiences. It is about being respectful about each other in general, but you just can't go about it in as airy fairy a way as Applegate suggests, you need to be aware of everyone's circumstance...

Also you're just appealing the majority. Numbers don't decide who's in the right, even in project groups.

Re: Joining A Team Versus Working Solo

I think it depends on culture whether respect is a common right or earned, but when working in a team you cannot blindly expect to be given the respect you want. Earning respect as a leader is important for anyone who wants to lead a group who do NOT have to put up with you. It's different if you a...

Re: Joining A Team Versus Working Solo

Being any kind of team leader is a nightmare, because when people fail to communicate they will blame you for everything. People will not appreciate what you do and if things go wrong you'll end up taking the fall. For me it drove me into a very dark place, stress made me have a nervous breakdown a...

Re: Mnemosyne [GxB][Danmaku/VN; Sci-Fi, Romance]

You just need to keep working at it. The original art is nice but the design itself is kind of basic. I would definitely keep it as official artwork somewhere. The new artwork expands the design a bit but doesn't quite have the charm of the original.

Re: Mnemosyne [GxB][Danmaku/VN; Sci-Fi, Romance]

I think you should go with the original design, but add the outfit and pigtails of the newer one. And the same colouring style.

I kind of liked the wide eyes on the older art. It just looked spacier and suited the voice somehow.
