Re: Aris High Junior College [GxB][Drama, Romance, School]

Looks great so far! Though I think the text would be easier to read if you made it a larger font -- this probably would still be readable on a Galaxy Note but I think people with smaller resolutions would have difficulty. It's a bit odd that the font for options is larger than the font for the actua...

Re: Winterblood [BxB][Corrupted Fairy Tale]

Love the art style, I can see where the influence from The Path (which is a neat game) comes in :D The reddish backgrounds especially! I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

The story sounds really intriguing! What you have graphics-wise at the moment looks extremely polished *0* Can't wait for the character art to come out.

@magbie: Sorry bout that, we've taken off the demo for the time being because we're embarrassed of it now u_u;; We'll try to get the re-release out ASAP! @bic and try: thanks so much for your support! XP We thought the art changes may not be to some people's taste but it looks like we'll do fine, he...

Re: How did you decide on a team/studio/other name?

Etoranze comes from the title of a song we both liked, so it stuck... It's the Japanese romanization of a French word for stranger, so yeah, it's pretty weird xD; I don't think we're going to change it anytime soon, though.

Re: Making a new preference?

$ x = 0.1 $ y = 0.3 $ persistent.pausing = True if persistent.pausing == False: $ x = 0 $ y = 0 I put a text tag {w=[x]} or {w=[y]} after each comma and period respectively. So if persistent.pausing is set to False, there will be no pause after punctuation. Trying to make sense of your method now b...

Making a new preference?

I have a new preference-type thing where you can choose to enable or disable pauses after punctuation. I have something like this for the code: hotspot (853, 321, 180, 41) action SetField(persistent, "pausing", True) hotspot (1031, 321, 180, 41) action SetField(persistent, "pausing&qu...

Re: How To Effectively Write Horror?

I think when it comes to horror writing, less is more -- it's not about what you show but what you don't show. Atmosphere is everything, and the best thing about visual novels is that you can accentuate that atmosphere in your writing with creepy music and sound effects. :>

@WickedRacoon: Yeah, they're the pits D: We're not taking them till next year, but there's gonna be lots of intense studying involved... which I'm going to try to shirk :'D ANNOUNCEMENT: There is going to be a major graphics upheaval (for the third time!!!!!1!!!1! oh god) so don't be alarmed! Re: Non-Japanese comics

I've always been a fan of Neil Gaiman's Sandman but my interest in American comics got rekindled recently by the Walking Dead. I think if you're apprehensive about following a convoluted superhero comic timeline then TWD (and others like it) is probably for you -- the storyline is linear and the art...

Re: [BxB] [Horror] Water's Edge

@WickedRaccoon: Whoops! Not at the moment! We are really busy now with school and a major national exam... Story-and-writing-and-programming-wise we have gotten a lot done already but we don't have a lot of time to work on graphics/GUI, plus editing backgrounds and CGs. Basically, we can't very well...
