I want to do a simple title screen, I have the image and everyting, the only thing I want is that the words (start, load,exit) appear in the middle, withouth any theme, just the words, how can I do this?

I want to know how should I make a game that could fit all computer screen sizes. How should I work with that, like How should I create characrers, backgrounds in order to avoid ugly strechings.
