Re: Background Artist(s) needed for Elysian Days [Skill Trad

Hey, I'm one of the writers and organizers of the game. I didn't have a chance to let Rei know the status of the writing before the post went up, but for those who want that information: the writing is mostly done save for a few scenes, and the majority of editing that remains involves setting up ev...

Elysian Days (Centome) [GxB/G, Fantasy, Nano 2014]

Welcome to the world of Elysian Days! In the land of Elysium, humans, horses and centaurs live together in relative harmony. Near Mount Parnassus, spring is just beginning, and for one stablehand and a few suitors, love seems to be carried through the flowerbeds... The protagonist! Written by all of...

Re: #koreajam

This sounds awesome, and I'm glad to see that while it starts in March it lasts beyond NaNo, which would be a big concern for a lot of developers on this site. I can't promise that I'll make anything but I'll try to get the word out!

Re: What is your specialized genre?

I don't write in a single genre, I just recycle the same characters (snarky girl, excited girl, awkward girl) in as many genres as possible.

Re: visual novel or kinetic novel: which is best for a story

This really got me thinking -- thanks so much! Some of the messages that popped out at me as I was writing reminded me of myself and the difficulties I'm facing with regards to pursuing my own dream. I think this a universal thing -- many people have emotional obstacles to overcome and decisions to...

Re: visual novel or kinetic novel: which is best for a story

Here are a few of the endings to Tchaikovsky's ballet Swan Lake, taken from Wikipedia. In the original 1877 ballet, Siegfried struggles with Von Rothbart and tears off one of his wings, thereby destroying his powers. Siegfried has broken the spell of the swan maidens and marries Odette. A version da...

Re: Should Adversity strike again?

Re: On Japanese name orders

There's always the option to let the player decide based on their own preference, although the more characters you have the more awkward this gets.

Re: Li'l Red [NaNoRenO 2013]

Just played it, and got two endings, which seems to be all of them. The art is really impressive, and doesn't look too far off from what you might find in a fairy tale book. I definitely preffered
the wolf ending, the human father was a bit obnoxious due to his weird overreactions about women.
