Re: R.E.M: Reality's Dream (Update 6/01/08, we aren't dead >.o)

Ah, thanks for keeping people posted on the updates Threevenge! There's a reason he is my #2 man people, he's as dedicated to this project as I am! Anyway, things are still running slow and smooth. Three more backgrounds done, another character CG'd for the most part, and editing being done. Our sta...

Re: I saw a ghost!

I believe that was the collective point of my post. That fear itself, is not capable of being detected by scent, but the consequences of such are.

Re: I saw a ghost!

I heard dogs are in communication with Martians, and have inside jokes about us humans. Honestly, any sentence beginning with "I heard" is usually a bad thing to use as a specific example. Dogs may in a sense be able to smell fear, well at least the reaction to it. Fear is a feeling, and t...

Re: Mujinchitai (Horror/Suspense VN)

Hehe, I've been lurking and reading the threads, just have been too lazy to actually post anything. I've kept up to date with your project, no worries. Anyway back on topic, it is difficult to manage a team from around the world but it's actually impossible unless the members really care about the p...

Re: Mujinchitai (Horror/Suspense VN)

I'm seriously hoping that's an exageration. 100 MB per second is the speed you would have on a commercial server, not a private computer. I have cable and that only goes up to 8MB/sec. If you wanted to cough up about $150 a month you could probably hook yourself up with a 30/60 MB FiOS, but 100...? ...

o_o What did that flood knock your head into working mode or something? Congratulations on that and let me just say I'm impressed and will make sure to have day 5 ready for you. Yes I realize I could have said this all in on a messenger but it gives me a good chance to wish everyone from Iowa well. ...

Re: R.E.M: Reality's Dream (Update 6/01/08, we aren't dead >.o)

Well you would be right, it did sorta get "stuck" but not to the point of stopping. It's like we are sloshing through really deep mud really slowly. Basically our art department is both busy and slow, which makes releasing a demo anytime soon difficult.

Re: R.E.M: Reality's Dream (Update 4/25/08, rambling)

Oi, May is over and none too soon really. It was a hectic month for everybody for a variety of reasons and some of us still have more coming up going into June. I'd say I'm way over do to say something as the head of the project. I swore not to say anything during May because it was on most angles a...

Re: What do you do when you need a story idea?

When I need a story idea? I don't think I've ever -needed- them, I have far far too many already. I consistently get a small, vague idea that plays itself in my mind a little farther each and every day. It's like watching the next few minutes of the movie a day later and the next day and so ...

Re: Let's Make a Deal! 3d BG Artist Looking for Work

*whistles* That's some nice work there, a good attention to detail too. Hm, I've noticed your work seems to be centered around a small area through other then the first one, rather than a more zoomed back shot. Any specific reason for that? The first is done with a rather broad look while the other ...

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^

Well they aren't THAT expensive actually - mine is a really good tablet and not even a cheap one, a A5-size Wacom, and it cost me 186 euros, which would be about 282 dollars. It has faithfully served me for 3 years without pretty much any dysfunctions - so I was 12 years old when I bought it with m...

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^

Generally people who buy tablets are those who have already reached a certain level of skill and professionalism, due to the money involved. It doesn't really make all too much sense to buy a tablet if you can't make full use of it. Of course, this is -generally-. You will always find varying degree...

Re: Mujinchitai (Horror/Suspense VN) *3 Screenshots*

Guah, with a script of this size and the art requirements involved with it...I find that if you separated your art and writing jobs it would be far more efficient. Replace yourself in one of them, I demandz it! Just kidding  But really, with you on so many jobs I guarantee you this will take a...

Re: I saw a ghost!

If the best place to hide UFOs is under Disney World, how come we know it's there now? I thought the utilidor under Disney World is for the amusement park's benefits, like rooms for employees and kitchens and supplies and stuff. @Sin: Because you already told us ghosts have very little possibilies ...

Re: I saw a ghost!

I doubt the UFO's that are seen are actually from aliens, as technology of the military today would be able to identify things like that pretty quickly. However, if you believe the military keeps it from us and hides alien stuff away in the desert...there is no hope for you already... I'd say there ...
