Buying MineCraft was not very beneficial to my project >__>
6 days? I think it's doable to finish everything up...the problem is this week starts midterms D: Oh, what excellent timing.

Re: NaNoReNo 2012
I love sudden motivation ^_^
...all it took was a comfortable warm day with the windows open, some good music, and being sore and not wanting to move, haha.
Time to get some art done! Polishing all the rough sketches is my biggest roadblock right now, as most of the code is done. Let's do it!

How do I customize bars? - SOLVED
Hey everyone! I've checked out Aleema's style customization tutorial and attempted changing the script she suggested, but nothing seems to have been changed. :( All I'm trying to do is display a simple bar (not a scroll bar), on the player's screen to show their current level in each stat. Could som...

Re: Ah! Peku [NaNoRenMo 2012]
Wow, the projects just keep on coming! As for yours, I really like the way you draw people and their descriptions are fun too. It gives them a lot of character with just two sentences. Your synopsis sounds fun too! Good luck! Thank you! ..You're working on NanoLife, right? That one really caught my...

STATUS: Well, here's my NaNoRenMo attempt! ...unfortunately, I wasn't able to finish, and thus it's a failed challenge I suppose. However, it's still worth checking out, and you could consider this version a demo. Here's what it's missing: --- Crafting system --- Home Decoration --- Happiness/Hunger...

Re: NaNoReNo 2012
I only heard about NanNoReNo a few weeks ago, but I definitely want to give it a try! My good friend from High School participated in NaNoWriMo for like 5 years now, and it always seems like a challenge. Since writing is more of a side hobby to art... I'm excited there's a slightly more suitable cha...

Re: MiniBot! Looking for Feedback!
D'aww I just finished the game within 7 generations XD Completed all the challenges as well! While it is a cute fun game to play there's always feedback! When merging watts it was quite repetitive since I have to click all over and over again just to find the perfect match (higher than my bots' wat...

Re: MiniBot! Looking for Feedback!
HI! I've played your game AND REALLY ENJOYED!!! Well...maybe too much. This is my "fan" effort. In fact I'm REDRAWING everything from scratch with some BG art, just fur fun, but results are cute. How about a "new edition"? The code could be the same, I think is perfect (you can ...

Hey everyone! ^_^ I miss my friends back at college, since I'm home for winter break. I went ahead and drew this for my two good friends. :) Can you guess which one is me? ;D haha. Shouldn't be too hard if you look at my avatar, lol. HAPPY NEW YEARS (eve), btw http://i1179.photobucket.com/albums/x39...

Re: WiP Questionnaire
LSF is a forum for visual novels and story-based games - rather than arbitrary game development projects. We don't have a clear definition of what a story-based game is - but a "pure" dress up game probably isn't it. On the original post, there wasn't any story - just a series of sprite s...

Re: WiP Questionnaire
Just throwing in my two cents... I think that mod approval, guidelines, or requirements to be met are all good ideas for the WIP forum. As several other users have stated, questionnaires have the potential to be annoying, as well as limit the ability to have unique layouts in forum posts. Guidelines...

Re: CG Gallery Help
You could set a true or false variable that could unlock the CG Gallery... all you would have to do is put the variable in the code at the end of the game.
Just have the galley unable to view unless the variable is true... it would need to be persistent data as well

Re: How to define image to a Variable?
Hmm...that's odd. "image hair = HAIR" works fine for me. Well, anyway, you don't want to define 'hair' as an image. I don't think images defined in init blocks can be changed. Try this: $ HAIR = "Pictures/H" + HAIRSTYLE + HAIRCOLOR + ".png" show expression HAIR *sorry ...
