Re: Art workshop~
Nice coloring. Did I color this right? That is stylistically very super cool. It definitely has an atmosphere of it's own. The stars seem a little bit on the large side to me. I would imagine them to be just dots, or maybe even nonexistent. Also, if you blur the reflection in the water a little mor...

Re: Ripples
Ah, many thanks for the comments on this. I am hoping that my voice acting will improve for my next one, and the main character will also be voiced. ::nodnod:: Your comments on this mean a lot in helping me decide what to improve upon for my current work, so I am very grateful.

It looks good, but the shadows appear to be on the wrong side for the given light source. I really like his eyes, though. I always have trouble coloring eyes so they look big and cute. >.>Cybeat wrote:Here it is! It's Masayuki again.

Re: Plat du Jour [Characters Updated]
Mmmm... This might be only because I tend to draw overly lengthy necks by mistake on my characters, but I think that all the characters here have really long necks here too - especially the male lead... Just something to check out. :3 Mn, that is a problem I tend to run into a lot. Fortunately, Pho...

Re: Why visual novel?
Well, writing an actual novel gives you a lot more freedom. I've written lots of short stories, and I don't think I could actually translate most of them over into a decent visual or kinetic novel (for instance, in one story the characters lie beside each other on a bed and they're constantly rollin...

Re: Plat du Jour [Characters Updated]
Thanks to akemicchi's suggestion, I changed Aria's color scheme to match a traditional bento box, and I think it really matches her personality. Also, I finished my first background today (after about three days worth of work). The problem is...I don't like it too much. Drawing backgrounds has alway...

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^
Well, it's not necessarily the brush that you need. I color using the fill option as well, but I use the lasso tool to select, so it's much more precise. The most important part is coloring underneath the outlines, though. Change the blending mode of the outline layer to "multiply" then an...

And another one. I hate the little white spots.... I really like her attitude and expression. As for the white spots, how exactly do you color? I wrote a tutorial (although it's not very good) on coloring underneath the lines using Photoshop so that you don't get those white spots. If it's any help.
