Re: Hacklist [Art Deco] [Noir] [Sci-fi] [WIP]

Well, speaking as someone who LOVES anime, I much prefer the third version of Clive. I think the most appealing thing about the anime art style is how expressive and dynamic it is. So, as long whatever style you choose has that I don't think anyone would mind. Besides, the art in the third version i...

Re: Programs to make BGs and GUI

Ooh, thanks you two! I didn't realise that Blender was free. I might see if I can get to playing around with some of these in the weekend. Hopefully I can find some good tutorials on Youtube.

Programs to make BGs and GUI

I'm sure there have been many topics like this before, but I figured I might as well just try creating one anyway. I'm not really good with architecture and backgrounds, so I was wondering if there were any free (important, free!) 3D programs that you can build a 3D setting with? That I could then u...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

... Thanks. Well, I'm sure that they to some degree do care, but I do know that they think their life would be easier in a world where I wasn't in the family. My mom once indirectly admitted she would not have had me, if she could go back. The only reason she really seems to care is because I remin...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

I've pretty much had issues dealing with insomnia for many many years, but now it's not just that I have trouble falling asleep. Now I lie in bed and get overtaken with anxiety in the quiet darkness. I can't recall the last time I felt so lonely, if I ever have felt it this much. Sometimes I think I...

Re: Cinderella Phenomenon [GxB/Free]

This looks utterly AMAZING! Just started downloading it on Steam, I will probably get to it this weekend! Right off the bat, the art is absolutely gorgeous, and I already like the main character! :D

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^

I've just thrown myself into trying pixel art, and I actually think it's really fun! But I can't really decide how to do shading... I've thought of either a pixelation from one color to the other and a gradient of different colors, but I'm not sure which looks best or whether to try something comple...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

I'm kinda frustrated atm. I'm attending a drawing course that's ending at the end of April. But I'm kinda disappointed in myself, because I haven't gotten the things done that I wanted to. I wanted to have practiced some more perspective drawing and architectural drawing. But instead I ended up gett...

I'd second Aviary Attorney. It's very "punny" and gives a decent amount of challenge!

Re: Desperate Answer Needed-Is it safe to travel to Italy?

I haven't been to Venice or Florence, but I've been to Rome and London and had no issues. You do have to be careful of pickpockets though, but no more than in any other major city. They're both places I miss dearly and want to revisit. If you're a girl you might experience a bit more catcalling than...

I'm currently taking a course in classical drawing, so I thought I'd share what I'm working on right now! I'm drawing a statue, the bottom half (such as the legs) will get refined, as I move downwards.

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

I'm sure most people don't have to guess what's on our mind right now. So, in order to not actually delve into it, let me just say this: Let's keep our compassion and humanity no matter what happens, no matter what it seems like other people might be thinking. Who knows, this could end up being dece...

What music to listen to while drawing?

Whenever I draw, I usually just listen to whatever's on my iTunes, meaning pop, rock, indie, Japanese music, game/movie soundtracks, whatever really... But I think that when I listen to the type of music I normally do, I always end up drawing something that relates too much to the music, if that mak...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

You don't necessarily have to go full-out on a cosplay, especially for your first one. If you wanted, you could use what makeup you already have to make your face similar to Harley Quinn's and (if your hair's long enough) give yourself some pigtails. c: There will probably always be jerks who will ...
