Re: Stop SOPA - USA members, please read

This is interesting. It really shows how shortsighted the Hollywood big-wigs are. Why are films like Harry Potter, Twilight and Transformers so popular? It's because of the fanbase. How does the fanbase work? By producing and appreciating fan-created material, be they in the form of images, songs, s...

Billy Bat, Pluto, Monster, etc.- Naoki Urasawa. Just... Read. Read these now. He's a modern god of manga vastly under-appreciated stateside.

Re: Worst anime you have ever watched?

I have a love/hate thing for Gurren Lagann. Love because it's awesome. Hate because I'm a feminist. Other than that... Lucky star was just really boring for me. And I couldn't finish the second season of Haruhi, which was unfortunate since the first season was fantastic. Also, I love almost all of t...

Futan-wait...
*checks forum*
Maybe 'fetish' isn't the best word to use when asking people about their tastes in anime characters...

In all seriousness though, I like mature characters and have a weird love of reverse-traps.

Re: Artist Here :)

Well, looks like I have something to save up for. :P Your artwork is fantastic. I'd love to collaborate with you in the future, but as it stands I'm a starving writer, so all we could probably do together is go hungry while waiting for a wealthy and philanthropic programmer to rescue us/pay our rent...

Re: So here's the thing...

@Kingjing Apparently I've been doing the Cliches in the bad away. I have the scene where they cry in the rain (;=;) So...I should just try to work it to the point it becomes less cliche and more...logical? That might be hard for me XD A cliche is something we've seen done a hundred times before. Wh...

Did someone say Lupin?

Re: So here's the thing...

I find it easiest to write my code in notepad, personally. That way you can just copy/paste with no weird formatting issues. When it comes to story and cliches... Well, one thing I do is to make a list of all of the cliche elements to a given story as I proof-read it. Then I decide which ones serve ...

Re: For straight women and gay men

Bi dude reporting. Surely you're designing more than one guy. Variety is the spice of life! (the lack of bald guys in bishi games saddens me) Personally, I like shorter hair, but I really enjoy seeing different styles. I like to have my aesthetic sense challenged. Though I guess that's not really th...

Re: The Silver Age[Murder Mystery]

Ooh! I love a good locked-room mystery! :) It's hard to really offer feedback on such a general summery, but that's okay! I don't want to know how he was killed until I play it! I guess the only thing that struck me as odd was the name "Waltz," but that's what we generally call a minor mat...

Re: VN Art (shading kills >_<)

Well I'm no master artist myself, but in my experience the best way to learn how to draw something is to reference it from real life. Doing a Google image search for 'Human Eyeball' might be a good place to start. You'll find plenty of medical diagrams which show the different parts of the eye. I've...

I like the set up! Makes me wonder how he got into this situation, and if he'll ever make it out.
Can't wait to get my hands on the first chapter when it's out! :)

Writer looking for someone to write for.

Hello there, Lemmanites! I've been looking around these forums for a while now, and much to my shock, I seem to be finding a fair ammount of artists looking for writers here! This seems like such a reversal of the usual state of affairs that I felt I should chip in and offer my services to anyone wh...
