Re: Utsukushii Effects (ImageDissolve tutorial)

Just wanted to thank monele (and as always PyTom!) for the effects demonstration, I'm reiterating what someone else has said but it goes to show how powerful Ren'Py can be.

Here's a suggestion, is there any chance that this could be added to the Ren'Py 'tutorial' project?

I'm downloading this right now... :) The artwork is what attracted me first, I really like that art style as the dark and bold brush strokes reminds me of some Remilia Scarlet artwork...

Re: What is your religion?

I don't really have a religion, so I suppose I fall under the agnostic atheist and if you want to be specific then I'm just an atheist.

I was brought up as an Anglican Christian at school, at home my parents practised Taoism and with my exposure to the world was shown the truth.

Re: Facebook - What it is and how do I use it...

Facebook has no competitors. Yahoo has Hotmail and Gmail. Google has Bing (well, sort of) I thought Google had "Google +" as their Facebook competitor? Going back onto topic, Facebook is a private social network, meaning if everything and anyone can be linked up. So right away, as leon ha...

Re: Best non japanese cartoons?

Just to name a few... Batman: The Animated Series (all 5 seasons I believe from old to new animation, solid storytelling, great animation and music) X-Men Courage the Cowardly Dog MLP:FiM (Stylistically reminds me of the Power Puff Girls) The Regular Show Archer (Adult Swim comedy) Ventura Bros. (Ad...

Re: What are your currents favourites?

I just finished 'Welcome to the N.H.K.', which I absolutely enjoyed and would recommend for the more mature anime fan. For the most part it deals with social anxiety (the hikkikomori in Japan), the issues that I can relate to all too well... There's a great friendship (which involves making a VN) an...

Re: Help with extract stages from mugen

Having read the README on the website, it seems as though you can use the 'environment' as long as it's for non-commercial use and if you identify what you've used. Though if it's a background ripped from a commercial game then the story changes... Anyway, as for how you might be able to use the bac...

Re: Mac Help on Specs...

Another thing you could do is to build your own Mac to your own specifications (aka Hackintosh). The downside to this is obviously that it's not designed by Mac (no sleek, Apple logo'd products, but you could always buy the mouse, keyboard and monitor from Apple) and that you'll need to look for com...

Re: Anime Composer for FREE

Hi EQ, I must say I'm impressed by what you've done here and on your YouTube channel. Good job! I won't give in a request as of yet considering how swamped you are at the moment but I'd like to ask, what do you use when you're composing songs? I imagine you must have some sort of studio, a keyboard ...

Re: English is really funny

I was born a Britsh born Chinese, so naturally I use the British English language. In comparison, for those of you who use the American English, I use the words colour, grey, aluminium, and pronounce lieutenant as LEF-tenant and not LOO-tenant. :) I could go into the boring details but I shan't, ins...

Re: An innovative tool to help 3D modelers to create models

I saw this a while back, and I would really love one of these models. Putting purpose aside, I really do like how sleek and clean it all looks, the back fin and cables just make it look so robot-y.

That said, I really do like Fireball's Drossel...
