Are you using show_two_window? If so, you probably want something like: init python: style.say_who_window.background = None That doesn't get rid of the window entirely, but it sets its background to None, which is probably what you want. I'm pretty sure I'm not. How would you set it to two windows?...

How to move "speaker tag"?

On the default renpy code, how do you get rid of the box surrounding the name when a person speaks and how do you customize its position? I deleted the code entirely and decided to use image-based speaker tags...though now it's starting to not work out, so I would like to know how to do the former. ...

By the way, what does 1.0 refer to in placement? (Just for future reference if I need to place it in other areas)

edit: Welp...it was working well up until I decided to add in a hover...now it screwed up. >.< Help again?

[SOLVED] How to delay before going onto story?

When I'm on the main menu, I have made it so when you press a button, it activates a sound. However, I want the sound to finish when you click on "new game" and enter the story. So how would I delay the main story screen from appearing for a second? I apologize if my wording is a little awkward. >.<

Hmm. I did that, it's still not working. Is it something about setting the background image on options.rpy to the idle image? Or does that not matter?

Here is the idle version and the hover version. Technically the idle version doesn't work either, since I have to put the idle image on the game background in order for it to even appear.

Oh geez. How stupid am I...I had the code in options.rpy. >___<;;; Put it in screens.rpy and now the code itself is working! Thanks xD;;

More problems though...when I hover over the image, it doesn't change as I want it to...it just remains static.

Did that just now. Code remains the same except with the window part deleted. And the imagemap part is indented 4 spaces of course. Unfortunately now, it says:

I don't know if you've seen this but it should help you with all of your menu related needs. :o I have, but I still don't quite understand it...so if I want to change my default, I just set up an image map? What if I wanted the text to glow when you hovered over it though? I make a duplicate image ...
