Re: Help with circular movement.
Wow, that is SO much easier to understand. Thanks a bunch, I think I can figure the rest out from here.

Help with circular movement.
Hello, hello, I am back again. Quick and to the point... I have no idea how clockwise movement seems to work. I'm confused what causes it to rotate around what part of the screen and so on. Essentially, I have this... https://i.imgur.com/00F9ZkU.jpg https://i.imgur.com/00F9ZkU.jpg I have 6 points, w...

Re: List containing positions
Oh, thanks for the extra information. That will actually come in handy when I get around to including the dice roll variables into things.

Re: List containing positions
Thanks for the response. I am a little confused as to how this works exactly. Though I think a bit might be due to my own lack of clarity. So let me be a bit more specific... https://i.imgur.com/GWPlJgp.jpg Let us take this colorful mess. Character portraits are on the outskirt edges, with colored b...

List containing positions
Here I am again! I have a psuedo board game type thing I am working on and I am wondering the best way to track any sort of figures going across the board. I am not sure the best method, but I thought of using a list to have all of the positions of the board, then apply an offset for each other play...

Re: Character Dialogue Box Position
Thanks for the responses. The link was useful, I did learn a bit reading through it. But in the end, I decided it best to just pass the dialogue through a screen instead. Considering it's not a long scene, seems like an easier alternative.

Character Dialogue Box Position
Ahoy! I am looking to make eight custom characters for a scene where people are sitting around a table and such, and I wanted the dialogue boxes to be by their portrait. So I'm merely asking the best way to do that, I suppose. Basically, something like this... https://i.imgur.com/NRgK47U.png Each pe...

Re: Character Bio Screen Assistance
Here I am again, back to working on this between other things. I have it mostly working and looking how I want, but in response to your latest post suggestions, I do have a couple questions if you don't mind indulging me yet again. Upon your suggestion of putting the variables into the screen itself...

Re: Character Bio Screen Assistance
Beautifully helpful as always. I am currently trying to finish up something else, and this is something I am working on on the side, so I haven't gotten to tinkering with your latest advice yet. Though I absolutely will. I will let you know if I have anymore questions, but I think this mostly explai...

Resolving Linear/Ease movements
Hello, hello. Another quick question. I know it's possible with transitions using "ease" and such to resolve movement when skipping ahead. However, if you just use ease normally, and someone skips ahead, the movement keeps going onto the next dialogue. Most of the time, that's fine, but wh...

Re: Character Bio Screen Assistance
Fantastic info like before. Despite positional stuff, which I will work on after everything is in order, I have most of my screen working about how I want it, aesthetics aside. I do have a few more questions though, in regards to your last post. The toggle option for Zoom works great, because I real...

Re: Character Bio Screen Assistance
Oooh, this is a very detailed response and very helpful already. I was going to ask about unlocking details, and you went ahead and already did so. I have only just begun sort of piecing together your example and learning from it. Sort of working from left to right, but I think I got the character v...

Character Bio Screen Assistance
Hello, hello again. I'm trying to make a character bio screen, which people can go to when they interact with a new character. Said screen I want to be split between a viewport for the character model, which I'd like to have buttons to zoom it in or out (full size images are pretty big), and possibl...

Re: Variable containing a word
Rather than make a new thread, I figure I should just ask it here, which is basic advice, I suppose. The above question is the result of me including a short little card game. While I would love to code an entire card game (do not have the skills), it's a mildly scripted thing, but there are variabl...
