Re: Some Command Questions with Ren'Py
Oh, no, please remove that init python: print "python block" It was just an example i.i And also, you have to post exactly what error you're getting or else we can't say much. Also, please put your code in code tags. Python uses compulsory identation and normal posting on the topic will k...

Re: Some Command Questions with Ren'Py
Blech. It's still not working out, even though I've tried what you guys recommended. What's wrong with my code? # You can place the script of your game in this file. init: # Declare images below this line, using the image statement. # eg. image eileen happy = "eileen_happy.png" # Declare c...

Re: Some Command Questions with Ren'Py
Uh, still not following you with the narrator thing. Where does that go? In the Options part?
If possible, I'd like to know exactly what to type in.

Re: Some Command Questions with Ren'Py
1. Post codes inside [ code ][ /code ] (without the spaces) 2. You can post Ren'Py related stuffs... well, in Ren'Py section =D 3. Instead of using "n" in every line, it's better to override the narrator character of Ren'Py: init python: narrator = Character(kind='nvl') 4. "\n" ...

Re: Some Command Questions with Ren'Py
Hmm. Another couple of issues seem to be coming up. When I put that improvised Pause line in the script in the "init" section and use the same Pause command it gives me an error and the game won't start. The same is true for the "\n". Here's what I've coded. init: # Declare image...

Some Command Questions with Ren'Py
I do apologize if these have been answered somewhere before. I'm not particularly good with forum searching, and I haven't been around in a while, so.... Anyway. My questions relating to Ren'Py are as follows. 1) As for the "Pause" command, is there a way to make it so that it pauses and p...

Re: ONScripter issues
Ah, I do appreciate all of the replies. As if turns out there is a community for the translated NScripter, ONScripter, as well as an apparently updated version called ONSlaught. Anyway, I've resolved the question. My projects are primarily done in Ren'Py and other designing programs, but for that pa...

ONScripter issues
Hello, everyone. It's been quite a while since I last posted here, what with classes and work and family issues, but I'm back. I started a small project in ONScripter, recently, and it's gone fairly well for the mostpart. The basic programming works just fine. Currently I'm doing the rough draft of ...

Re: Photo Distorting?
Just to add my two cents (unwanted or not) I've found that in GIMP using "oilify" and then "blur" produce something quite similar to the backgrounds from dojin VN games.
Not every game does have a similar blur, of course.

Re: How to spot/treat bootleg figures
Funny, I've never even given the "fake figurines" thing much thought.
Cool story, bro. This'll definitely come in handy for the fig collectors here.... assuming there are some.

Re: Artist(s) needed for GxB Victorian/Lolita style game
It sounds interesting. I'm not really into the goth-loli stuff, myself, but the fact that it's a mystery story means it already has my attention. I'm always curious how people plan on working multiple paths into a mystery story. Does the mystery change with each path, or does each path just reveal a...

Re: Star Ocean: The First Departure
I've wanted to play this for a while, but sadly I lack a PSP. ;_;
Loved SO3, though, and SO2 would've been even better if the translation and voice acting hadn't been so godamned awful.

Outside? In the 3D world?
You kidding me? People fucking die out there, man. I'm afraid to open my door to get chinese food.
Anyway, I wish I could afford that.

Re: Never thought THIS would happen here...
The worse things is that the majority of the parents won't assume the responsibility in punishing their child. Like the incident were a group of preppy teens invited a nerdy girl to their party. When she got to the rich kid's basement, the girls started beating the shit out of the young girl while ...
