Re: K done here.

Don't let it drag you down. Not every idea makes it. I've scrapped at least twenty ideas before I decided to stick with one, and even then I rewrote it at least three times. The point is to keep trying. Keep your chin up and make something good. Really good.[/i Besides, if it's your first VN it does...

Re: Old Hero Writes Scenes and Crap for You

All righty, sounds fun.

Hoping I get the personalities right, but we'll just have to see how it comes out, eh?

Re: Old Hero Writes Scenes and Crap for You

Sure, sure. Any specifics?

Genre? Feel? POV? Do you want him talking to another character in your World? Do you wanna cry, laugh?

Old Hero Writes Scenes and Crap for You

So, I got this idea from redeyesblackpanda's thread. It's the same thing, pretty much. Give me a character and I'll write a story regarding them, or give me rocks and I'll make fire. Rocks = Scenes, by the way. Anyway, samples of my work are at the bottom. I have more, but then this thread will turn...

Aha, what sort of genre do you prefer to write, then? I'll be sure to give you something based on that next time.

Re: redeyesblackpanda's character/story writing training thr

To be frank, I was actually surprised at how good it came out. You really did a good job of conveying the emotions, and you definitely captured the melancholy feel to it.

Re: When you were a child...

I recently aspired to become a pilot in the U.S Air Force, but with my deplorably bad eyesight, I have to rethink my goals. I dunno what I wanna do now.

I had accidentally tricked Ren'Py into making everything upside down. I have no effing idea how.

But, that's neither here nor there.

Re: Your Writing Stats

Yeah, it's also annoying when you use word, and then copy it back into your editor. You have to realign the text and everything. Such a hassle.

Re: Your Writing Stats

It also matters to me where I'm writing. I write a helluva lot slower when using SciTe or J-Edit or what-have-you, but a lot quicker when using Microsoft Word or Google Docs.
