Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^

Hi, there, Art Dumpers! This marks my first entry into Art Dumpage. I drew this while I was supposed to be learning about moose . It's not a person because I can't draw (once-)living things very well. There are lots of people drawing here anyways. Hopefully I figure out how to color this some day. ...

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^

Top-o-head: I refuse! To be honest, the top-of-the-head thing looks weirder to me than the shoulders; I noticed it straight away - it looks like she has amazingly tall hair - while it took me a couple of seconds to register the shoulder thing... Could it be a stylistic issue? For example, the artis...

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^

Very nice Doomfest. You know that you're doing well when all we can criticize are shoulders! :D
Did you already post a full-body version or other poses?
All I previously have seen from you are your camp sketeches- which are NICE.

How long does it take you to do a sketch of that quality?

That's a nice background! Are there supposed to be faces in the darkness or have I just failed a Rorshach test? :D

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^

Wow! Really nice work people. Here's some art from a new game we're working on. Unfortunately, I'm not the talented one who's drawing it, but since I'm working on the game, I'll claim fractional credit. :D Sorry about the text on the art, I don't have a clean one handy. I would really appreciate any...

Re: The Curse of The-So-Called PATENT

Copyright laws also do not protect work that is not the work of the copyright holder. In other words, if the local artists can prove that they have been using the motif well before the copyright was filed, they should be able to overturn the copyright in court (and probably, in the US, have their le...

You can also try the forums on Animetric.com. They review VN and Bishojo games (more adult) so they have an audience. Not a really active audience, but it's there... :)

Re: In 2050, your lover may be a ... robot

By 2050 I don't imagine the AI will be quite there yet. I see the robots as being merely really sophisticated vibrators that take the place of prostitution and masturbation in the interim. That wouldn't be too terrible I suppose. It would actually be better to me if there was not so much an AI, but ...

Re: Where has this been all my life?!?

As a completely incompetent artist, I think this is a really nice resource! As for the anime angle, I agree that dropping an anime stereotype on a 3D character probably won't look good. I have seen some decent combination (Appleseed the Movie stands out), however anime typically has larger head-to-b...
