Re: [NaNoRenO 2009] Sketchbook

ah melodrama, I love it. okay, so to be honest I went into the game not expecting much, partly because of the somewhat-ugly artwork (wait, don't kill me yet) I had seen in screens. Now I laugh at myself, because the art style is brilliant. As I played through and began to understand the characters, ...

Re: NaNoRenO 2009: Daemonophilia

grin that's the first thing I can think about this game. The game had unique style- the sitcom-like laugh track, the zooming in/out for characters, the art style, and a well written script. I laughed quite a few times :P Also, I found the lore about Lucifer and God etc to be very interesting, maybe...

Re: The Scaglietti (NaNoRenO 2009)

Well, that was a 20 minutes well spent! I always enjoy your style of storytelling and this one was no exception. Got the best ending on my first try, but it didn't bother me. You did a good job wrapping everything up with a satisfying ending. Also, I'm glad you didn't stick some cheap music in the b...

Re: The Case of the missing Bracelet redone!

Yes, this is what I meant to say. Hitting on a girl should not keep you from solving a case. It rather should open a secondary dating plot =D So you might end up in the room of your date and find more clues there. Use your flirt skills to get more clues! And the way you programmed your demo I spott...

Re: GO! Magical Boy [new release with sources & help request]

so I just finished the game (MAC version) w/ ending 3 at 85 mins. It worked perfectly for me, although I haven't tried all the branches yet. Man, I can't believe I didn't play this game back when I was going through all the good ren'py games! This is definitely one of my favorites. I don't have much...

Re: The Case of the missing Bracelet redone!

hey I just played the game It was a lot of fun, I always love mystery games (even though I suck at them). The characters were pretty good, although I agree with TMBpower that it's kind of hard to keep track of all them in such a short amount of time. I figured out the final solution when I saw the r...

Re: Starlight - Now Avalible!

ugh...I got about 5 minutes into the game, and got an error (mac version) Let me say though, the presentation is really good so far. I like the writing and the panning shots (not enough people use that). My mac seems to be having tons of problems playing older games so hopefully someone can help me ...

Re: The Garden Society: Kykuit

GSK was released in a very old version of Ren'Py (it was released in 2005 after all... n_n) so I think that may be part of the problem. I'll update it to a more current version of Ren'Py and post it up sometime next week. =) thanks, that would be awesome. I'm late to ren'py so I'm trying to catch u...

Re: The Garden Society: Kykuit

ok, well I thought I figured it out. I downloaded an older ren'py launcher (5.6.7) and the game opened and played fine. But after a few minutes it always seems to crash. No traceback error, just freezes. Sometimes it will also just crash right when I click on 'start game'. It might be something to d...

Can I request a reposting of the mac version? The sendspace file is gone and I'm interested in this abandoned game from the great Mr. E.

 There is still somebody playing this? And there are TWO new posts? oh, be still my trembling heart... haha, I really don't know why more people haven't commented on your game, because it's awesome. They're all crazy. It's got a great atmosphere, and you build the characters really we...
