Re: How can I stop making sexist games?
 guess I need to step back and redeem myself. people see me as a hardcore sexist now. You say you're not trying to be sexist, but the views you're representing are very sexist. Not all men like sports or the others things you're trying to be clever about suggesting. Not all women like deta...

Re: Would you read fanfiction of your own game/project?
If a project is ongoing, if there was a potential for sequels or it was part of an unfinished series, than it's a really, really bad idea to read any fan-fiction (if any exists). Like you said, it's easy to be influenced by the ideas in the fics and that can open up a lot of legal issues. Even if it...

Re: [Discussion] Where does "own content" start?
If my child spents hours in the woods to find a stone he can give me for my birthday, I would way more happy and proud of it than if he just grabbed that stone outside the moment he realized he forgot my birthday. Time and Effort are valuable things. Even more in office jobs, even though because of...

Re: Places in a rural town?
If you're talking about rural America, it can depend on what part of the nation you're talking about. I live in the Bible Belt area and we have far more churches than stores/businesses. There's around 15 churches in my town compared to about half a dozen stores/resturants/etc. No matter what area yo...

I think it would be nice to have sprites with differing body types or sprites for older characters.

Re: Writing casual relationship
Casual relationships do not have to be based on lies and isn't always about sex, and it's a very strange generalization to say they are. A casual relationship is simply a relationship without clear labels or expectations of a future together. Every one that I've seen or experienced has been built ar...

Re: Narrating in a Visual Novel?
Dialogue should indeed be written this way, but Narration -- in English -- is written in PAST TENSE . Open a fiction book -- any fiction book. Present Tense is only used in Non-Fiction and Dialogue. Not only are some fiction books written that way, as was pointed out, but it can be a useful way of ...

Re: Alexandra's Art!
The first one, the way her arm is bent looks a bit unnatural, more like her arm is broken rather than the bend of the elbow. I really like the last one (lucyyy.png) it looks the most polished. Perhaps a bit more shading in places other than just the face? Thought to be fair, I kind of like it like i...

I'm not familiar with the music group, but the customization option is very nice and the mc sprite art is lovely.
May I ask if you are planning to keep the font you're using in those screenshots? It's a bit difficult to read.

Can you tell us about how long the VN will be? (5000 words, 10000 words, etc) That may be helpful for finding an editor.

Re: Which VN should I do first???
I assume by Constantine Auro-Cyanide is referring to John Constantine, the protagonist from the Hellblazer comics and a movie named after him. He's a good example of a (not so ordinary) human contrasting with both angles and devils in a delightfully snarky, anti-hero sort of way. He's rather grey on...

Re: Finding My Wings [KN: GxB, Tragic, Drama]
May we have a little more information about the game/plot? Such as who Jonathan is and his connection to Amelia, or what the game is generally about? It being about someone wanting to fly is a little vague. In any case, good luck with this!

Re: How do you plan out your stories?
If I don't plan out a story, it doesn't get finished. I just can't make things up as I go. Personally, I start with a vague outline so that I have an idea of where the story starts, ends and where the major plot points will be. Then as I write the story, I'll flesh out the details on the outline and...
