According to various sources, it should be released by the end of July or the first weeks of August.

Re: Ar tonelico 2

And as you may have noticed, Implanta is just one part of the myth known as the Legend of Rhaplanca (to be more precise, it's the half of the "zodal rhaplanca" part). The rest of the story is told in Hibernation and in the three Metafalica hymns (and its order is the same order in which yo...

Re: Ar tonelico 2

Here you go. There you can find the lyrics and translations for all the songs from both Ar tonelico games, and also, the extra songs that appeared in some of Akiko Shikata's albums (RAKA, Kara*Cola and Harmonia):

Sublimation ~ omness chs ciel sos infel, Viena, and METHOD_METAFALICA/. are my favorites, but in general, all of the hymns are masterpieces. Not only musically, but also lyrically (how many songs in a game do tell you about their characters, and even tell legends of its world?)

Re: Ar tonelico 2

I haven't had a chance to play my AT games yet so :( Good news is that I'm taking my time to play the games I haven't played yet so :) How long does it take to finish the first AT game btw? From 30 to 80 hours, depending on how much time you dedicate to the optional quests, and in many other factor...

Almost all of these added in the localization, given that the original version had much fewer innuendos (and by extension, even less than At1).

Re: Ar tonelico 2

For me, excellent game, but horrendous localization, because of all the issues the US version has that weren't present in the JP one.

Re: Who is the toughest boss you've ever faced in an RPG Game?

For me it was the final boss of the Japanese Popolocrois Monogatari I, the Ice Demon.
It has 3 forms, and in the last form it has so much HP, and deals so much damage to all the party at once, that I died at least 5 times before defeating it.

Re: Ar tonelico

The point is, that anything that's written in Hymmnos shouldn't be changed at all (it's the game's own language after all, it's not japanese or anything like that). I could direct you to the albums that have the tracklisting and the scans with the song lyrics if you want... And; I'm glad that you en...

Re: Ar tonelico

I wouldn't be too surprised about the change from "Chroche" to "Cloche." Localization people are notorious for romanizing "r"s into "l"s, or vice-versa. Case in point: the romanji for the main character in Tales of Phantasia was "Cless." But when th...

This is also being talked about in anime forum I frequent, but sincerely, I don't think that this movie is going to be good in any way.

Re: Ar tonelico

I liked more the opening movie of 2 than the one of 1 (but the song of 1, Singing Hills ~ Harmonics Eolia ~, it's better than the one of 2, Singing Hills ~ Harmonics Frelia ~) And 2 it's definitely better than 1 in all aspects (Chroah it's a lot better than Lyner, to begin by comparing both main cha...

Re: Ar tonelico

It´s good that we are coming to a conclusion in here (though it´s necessary to investigate a little more in regards to EG for the material of the manga to see what more we can learn). In respect to what I replied on 7, the scene with Viro is in the anime. Hmmm, I´ll have to recheck more deeply too a...
