I was trying to make some scenes with particle illusion but when i used the video in the script it didn't showed even though the video is .avi what can i do?

ok... i have a problem... i'm making my visual novel with a lot of effects but recently i think in make it with animation i put the images and the animation works almost fine, the problem is when i'm playing the novel at the time i'm coming to the part with the animation the game suddenly freeze the...
