Re: Trigger [Slice of Life][Drama][Dark]

Thanks for playing, and for the comments. We were a bit experimental with the art style and it seems like people are liking it.

Cool, thanks for all your hard work on this, the latest release has some really great stuff in it and the native resolution text looks superb.

Re: Ren'Py 6.99.6 Released

I tried the nightly just to give it a shot, and I still have these weird issues with the scrollbars. Any idea what's up with that? https://41.media.tumblr.com/70d3a8ee65764f561d49eac6f309f991/tumblr_nw4pfx4eBT1qb5qopo1_540.png https://40.media.tumblr.com/6f2408d19209ff344a26fa0fc012f31a/tumblr_nw4pf...

Re: Ren'Py 6.99.6 Released

Hey Tom! I updated to 6.99.6 and I've noticed that sliders render incorrectly across all themes now: https://40.media.tumblr.com/c40ebf66ae4125f51c792ce1e0c98c67/tumblr_nvifpx2SKk1qb5qopo1_540.png I'm on a Mac (Yosemite 10.10.5) and this happens when I create a new project as well: https://41.media....

Re: ❤ Cute Demon Crashers! ❤ [GxB/GxG][18+][NaNoRenO 2015]

This was such a great lil game! Simple little things like having a "stop" button during sex scenes? Brilliant, and when I clicked it just to try it I may have teared up a little.

Re: Sound skipping upon playback

BTW Tom I got someone to try it on Windows and apparently it doesn't happen there. This seems to be an OSX-related problem. I've duplicated it on several Macs. Any chance I can work with you to help nail it down?

Re: Sound skipping upon playback

Hey Tom, thank you for responding. I tried the latest nightly (2/18) and still get audio skips. (I tried 2/12 and 2/13 but they threw exceptions.) I'm playing three audio files during this sequence, with fadeins and fadeouts. Here's example sound code with the rest of the script replaced with ellips...

Sound skipping upon playback

In several situations in my game, the existing audio skips for a second while playing new sounds. My game has a few extra sound channels for fading between tracks, and most of what's played are OGG compressed music and looping ambient sounds. These are audio events I can't downmix into single audio ...

Re: Trigger [Early Demo / Drama / Intense]

Just downloaded this and went through it. Found it very interesting. I see that it has been over a year since there were any posts to this thread; hope that you have not abandoned the project. Would welcome an update, or a more complete demo. Hey Philip! Thanks for trying it out! I have not abandon...

Re: Calling console commands within the .rpy script?

That's a great workaround solution, jghibiki, thank you so much! I will give that a shot if nothing else is possible. Does anyone else know if there's a "proper" way to invoke console commands directly within Ren'Py script or Python?

Calling console commands within the .rpy script?

Is it possible to call console commands such as "watch" and "unwatch" within the game script? This way I could set up "macros" for watching a series of variables by simply calling a label. For example: label sampleMacro: watch variable1 watch variable2 watch variable3 return I would then simply type...
