Re: You've Got Mail! (Fantasy | NaNo '16)

Sorry we haven't said anything in a while. We obviously didn't make the official Nano date, but we're going to keep working until the itch.io submission deadline on the 7th and release whatever we've got done. The game likely won't be what we consider finished even then, so we'll probably update the...

You've Got Mail! (Fantasy | NaNo '16) (Beta Released!)

YGM! Logo Thing 2.png The beta is out for the Nano submission deadline on itch.io! We've still got more to do before we consider it fully finished, but we managed to get enough done to release. You can find it here: https://olfix-productions.itch.io/youve-got-mail Summary: Becoming a mail carrier i...

Re: 2D Animation programs? (preferably free)

Pencil is a free animation/drawing software for making traditional 2D animation using bitmap and vector graphics. There are versions for it in Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux. Actually, the original Pencil stopped updating its development after a while. The good news is someone else picked it back up!...

I'm so happy to see you working on this again! I was really excited when I first found it, and sad to find out a virus took it away. Good luck with the new version! I can't wait to see where it goes!

Re: Freak-Quency (GXB, stat raising, sci-fi, comedy, free)

Wow. This was really great! Kind of shocking to me that it was free actually. I saw the screenshots and couldn't believe it and all of the features until I really played it. XD Amazing job with this game! After getting the True ending, I took a look at the tips and decided to try the cheating route....

Re: Anyone else on Itch.io?

I was curious about it for a while. After I saw your post about it, I decided to finally check it out. It looks like a really great place! I decided to make an account.

Thank you for introducing it! ^^

Re: Let's Go! Hiragana [edutainment]

This is really great! I love the idea of people making educational games. ^^ Thank you for taking the time to make it and let people use it as a learning tool! It would be awesome to see this game expanded upon in the future too, though it's up to you of course, as I can definitely see them taking s...

Re: Indentation mismatch, label start:

Do you have a different indentation for things above the start label? That might be causing that specific problem. I'd also guess having that first menu indented like that will cause you problems too. (The menu you have under the namerepeat label) You might want to give it the same indentation as yo...

Re: Using persistent data with image buttons

I can't seem to replicate your problem with the code you posted. It's working fine for me, even with persistent.Char2End not being set to true anywhere in the code. I didn't use auto because I didn't feel like saving that many images though. Also, in the code you posted, your buttons are in the exac...

Not sure if you've already taken a look at this thread, but maybe Elmiwisa's code here will help a little?

Re: Is a transparent imagemap quickmenu possible?

Not sure about the imagebutton example - I think you can set focus_mask to get a similar effect for imagebuttons? Probably should have mentioned that method with imagebuttons assumes focus_mask is set to True. ^^; Contrary to the example, I was using this for some odd shapes and areas. Which probab...

Re: Is a transparent imagemap quickmenu possible?

*edit* Arowana's answer below is a much more simple fix to this question. :) I'll leave this here in case anyone happens to find it useful though. (minus the image examples because I think it's pretty straightforward.) This method is probably better suited to people that have oddly shaped buttons/ho...
